This extender works really well with my SKY + HD box. You just need to remember to take the transmitter with you when you move to a different room. The receiver needs to be close to and aligned with the IR eye of the SKY box, which the instructions do advise.

No instructions - one is labelled TX (transmitter) and one labelled RX (receiver). I assumed that the receiver should be in sight of the remote control, and the transmitter should be near the device I want to control, but that is not the case. The transmitter is the one you point the remote control at.When they work, they're great, but they are simply too intermittent. I use usb power supplies, so it's not a problem with low batteries. Navigating menus is slow and frustrating as this unit misses button presses. Sometimes it takes so long to successfully send a button press that the menu times out.I'm going to replace them with something else, which is a shame as these were a great price.

Product is pretty easy to install but took a bit time to place at optimal position in order for remote to work.Remote now works but with a slight delay so have to be patient in order to avoid pressing the button twice.Overall I am pleased thay I can keep my cabinet containing sky box closed.

Received the item but can't connect it to my TV

Units failed to work reliably. OK one time, no response the next. Waste of time.

No manual. Signal gave out after short distance and unable to cope with doors.
