Excellent product for the price. The dies appear to be machined - hardened steel, and were delivered as pictured. They fit well in my Rigid flaring tool, and do the job they were designed to do.Beware of kits that appear to be chrome plated or are mild steel. They won't last...

Just be sure your cone tool works w these
They work good but didn't fit my flare tool. The cone tool was too short. Probably just a single flare tool. So be sure your cone tool will be tall enough to use these

It worked
It worked to make a flare and continues to work on my truck but it wasnt a perfect flare and i wasnt sure if it would make a seal. For a small job like mine just 2 flares it was sufficient.
