I love being about to roll out dough in a uniform ...
I recall seeing this type of rolling pin ages ago (the colored rings on the side is what makes them stick out in my memory), but I never knew what they were used for until I saw a video of someone testing these out. I love being about to roll out dough in a uniform thickness. That was the one thing I hated about, say, making flatbread or cookies. I never felt like guessing how thick the measurements were.

Easy for measuring thickness of dough
Works great if you need a specific thickness. Just wish there were a couple more discs. The first 2 times I used it, the recipe suggested a thickness that was not an option. Went with the one closest to the one desired

nice rolling pin the thickness guides are good and the unit cleans easy. but the damage easily my first one came with a small dent and the metal by nature being thin will not take a lot of abuse.
