Do not machine wash wool!
I feel like a lot of the bad reviews stems from a lack of knowledge of how to care for wool. Wool is essentially hair and is a bit high maintenance. If you machine wash wool items, they will felt (which a term used to describe wool fibers tightening and therefore shrinking the fabric). You have to handwash wool in lukewarm water with wool-safe soap. Most detergents will be too harsh. The water cannot be hot and you cannot rub the wool items while washing otherwise they will felt. Just let the items soak in the lukewarm soapy water for 5 minutes and then rinse. Gently squeeze water out and lay flat to dry. Do not wring the item because it may warp the fabric. DO NOT dry in the dryer. That will cause major shrinking. To keep wool items soft, look up how to lanolize wool. Now onto the product itself. The natural color one is incredibly thin. I took a picture so you can see how thin it is. I think the blue and red ones aren't so thin so you're better off buying those. I will be using these as undershirts on my babies. Luckily wool is very warm so even if it's thin, it should help.

Holes everywhere after one wear!!!
The media could not be loaded. The shirt runs short in the body the arms are perfect. The thickness is fine and wool is fairly soft but at the stripes the thread unravel my daughter wore it once and just putting it on her the stripes were unraveling everywhere! I’m sooooo disappointed. Maybe I got a defective shirt but I should get a replacement for sure. The problem is I ordered it months ago in case it got cold over hunting during early archery season during September and she never wore it until November so I don’t know if anything can be done.

Cute, good fit, good base layer and PJs for baby
I always give my kids wool pjs for Christmas so that they can double as a base layer for skiing or snowshoeing. I got theses for my 1 y/o this year. They are soft and cute and seem to keep him warm. He has been sleeping in them and worn th on a few snowshoeing adventures (in the baby backpack) and he has stayed warm with his other layers. I am still using and comparing to other kid’s wool brands I have used so we will see how the rest of the season goes.

Truly is self-cleaning
I bought this for my toddler and upon first wear he drooled all over the front (he's teething) so I set it out overnight on my nightstand and, lo and behold, it didn't have a spot or odor on it the next morning! I am going to let him wear it again (and maybe again after that) before washing. The shirt is SO SOFT and adorable... seems to be very comfortable for him. I just love it and am going to order him more (and see if there are items from this company for myself, hahaha).

Runs suuuuuper small
Soooooooo small. My baby wears mostly 6-12 shirts/onesies and 12-18 sleepers but can still fit into some 3-6 shirts and onesies. I ordered him the 1-2Y expecting some room for growth but it would be a snug fit right now. It’s stretchy but still. Reordering the 3-4T. He’s 6m, 27”, 21 lb.

I LOVE this shirt
I LOVE this shirt. I've ordered several Organic Wool shirts and pants from Amazon (this same brand, different sizes) and the only problem I've had is that my husband keeps washing and drying them in the laundry. You absolutely have to hand wash these in cold water and hang to dry or you'll have very expensive doll clothes instead! Such a bummer. But they're the best under layers I've had for our almost three year old daughter and I highly recommend them if you can keep it out of the wash!

Great European quality
Really great and comfortable. It's fully natural, means no synthetic at all, fits good. I recommend it to parents who are really cares about comfort of their child.

Not so soft
Not as soft as I was hoping. My boys wear lots of merino and wool and this shirt is on the thinner cheaper end. I’m keeping it and the pants to wear as a set because it’s helpful under snowsuits.
