Good but may be issues in the near future..
The j bars themselves work well and I like the folding aspect. However, I have only used it for one week on my Thule wing bars and the runner coating has failed and the bracket has begun rusting. The hand turn bolts didn’t seem to be sturdy enough so I added lock nuts.

Well worth the money
Great J bar very useful as you are able to get into all sort of car parks because you can fold the bar onto your roof bars. This makes parking so much easier than our old kayak bars.The only issue I found is it's not as stable as a non folding version however the fact it folded down was the reason for the purchase so wasn't a real issue for me.

Design similar to others that are more expensive.
Tried sticking my kayak straight onto flat roof bars. Using this definitely makes carrying your kayak easier. Bought this one as the advert said made in Wales. When the box came it had made in China in big letters on it. Otherwise seems sturdy and well made. Picked up new kayak on it and drove down the motorway at a cautious 60mph. Arrived home all good and secure.
