Big help with cabinet project...
I recently decided to add some Blumotion slow-closing cabinet devices to my kitchen cabinets. My kids slam doors, and these prevent that. Anyway, they had to be installed in the top corner of each cabinet opening, and my cordless drill would not fit in the single cabinet openings. The screws needed to go directly into the side of the cabinet (perpendicular), so the angle of the drill (90 degrees) was very important. I bought both the 7-1/2" EasyPower Flex Extension, and the 11" version (I'm using this review for both). I used both of them depending on how tight the angle was for the screw, and they worked very well! Most importantly, I was able to get enough torque to pre-drill the holes and then fasten the screws securely. A great feature about these extensions is how you are able to grip the flexible metal tubing along the entire length of the extension and not have it spin in your hands. The actual cable supporting the bit is hidden inside. They could make a minor improvement on the product... I found that the extension did not stay firmly in my quick-change device that I use for bits on my drill. Sometimes it did, other times it pulled right out. I also noticed that the drill bit or screwdriver bit that goes in the end of the extension does not stay in place. It just slides in and out. Overall though, I was very pleased with my purchase.

Guaranteed...Not sure there is one.
This product, the company that makes it, is a complete joke. The first one I purchased worked great. It broke after much use and abuse. I decided to buy two more thinking that I didn't want to be without one. It rode around in my truck for a few weeks before I had the chance to use it. I am a HVAC contractor and these work great, however, the new ones purchased through Denny & Kathy's Superstore not the case. The very first screw I was taking out, the end of the extension fell apart. I was mildly upset. Pulled out my spare... the very same thing happened again. I decided to get on the internet and found a "Product Return" on EASYPOWER'S website. Sent the product back. Got it back in the mail saying that they refused delivery. I called them and because it was purchased on Amazon that it had to be returned through them. By the way the customer service rep at EASYPOWER would not answer my question about what the Guarantee covered and hung up on me. Sent an email to: Denny & Kathy's Superstore and was told the following: I am sorry but we have a 30 day return policy since you received your item over 30 days ago there is nothing that I can do. Regards, Joe. Needless to say, now I have the chance to spread the word about poor customer service and a company that does not stand behind the product that they sell. This will be the best $23.53 that was ever spent.Once again [...].... thanks for nothing, it will be my honor to let all of my peers in the HVAC trade know what type of company that you really are and the kind of products that you sell.

When size matters
This works really well for both adding some length to the drill and also allowing you to drill at an angle, as long as the angle isn't too sharp.Sometimes a screw is so close to a wall, for example, that there isn't room for the drill. This will allow you to hold the drill farther away from the wall, and drill at an angle straight in.The outer sleeve doesn't rotate, so you can hold it with your hand while drilling.A good problem solver to keep in the drill case.

Works great if you get a good one.
Went through a couple of iterations of this product, 1 from Amazon and 1 from local home despot. One of them was no good; the power takeoff point had detached from the inner steel cable. On the plus side, I got to see the guts of how one of these things works, so that was cool.In any case, I recommend this Heavy Duty version of the flex extension. It can handle the torque off a power drill and gives you about 85-90% of bend. Reasonably priced, too.

Drill Option
This has been handy for me. It might not be heavy duty for regular construction site work, but it has saved me several times in tight situations. I found my 1/4 inch socket works on the drill end and this allows me to more accurately put a screw in when there is no space for a screwdriver. My guess is, it will last longer this way rather than using a regular drill on it. Obviously you wouldn't do this for hundreds of screws on a project (you'd want a drill for that), but for the miscellaneous odds and ends I encounter it is great.

It works as intended. I have only used it a couple times. Its a little thicker than i would have wanted but so far it hasn't caused any issues

Great tool and handles a lot of abuse
I use this bit extensively. I often find myself needing to get into tight or awkward places with a bit or one kind or another. I use this regularly with my impact driver although its probably not rated for that. It works great and holds up to the abuse well. I will add more info if I manage to break this with details, for now it gets glowing reviews for taking the abuse

Magnet fell out after first use.
Torque capacity is great, this flex extension is amazing for screwing things that are in difficult-to-reach places. It can handle a great deal of torque as well. There is one problem, and it is quite severe. The magnet that holds bits in fell out after the FIRST use. I have re-secured it with some glue, but it is unacceptable that a tool fall apart the first time you use it. Poor quality manufacturing and QC.
