They won’t sit flush to the bracket, and therefore I couldn’t get the brackets to lock because the screws were protruding. So I had to go the the hardware store to purchase smaller flat head screws. Other than that, the quality is great and ez to install. Worked great on my Cal King bed frame. Review: Good quality - Just as described and worked great. Have had no problems and I have the a few years now

Feel nice, worked great for my bed frame
A little difficult to line up properly. Screws are a little poor in quality. A few heads striped and one screw heads broke off.

Five Stars
Bought for bed we were building, impressed with the strength of these brackets! Extremely pleased with the quality. We were skeptical, but glad we decided on these. Not sure what weight they are rated for. I can tell you, that the bed we built is a queen size bed, with the frame being made with 2" x 10' boards, the slats were 1 x 4 and there were 16 of them and the platform was 1/2 flake board which was 60" x 80", with a queen size ~ 85 pound Nectar hybrid mattress, and combined weight of my husband and I is approximately 430 pounds.

Sturdy, but needs adjustments
I hesitated whether I should give 3 or 4 stars to this product. Compared to other bed rail brackets, I would still choose this style over others that are available. It really is a sturdy design and I like the way that the pieces seat together, especially having worked in furniture myself in the past. My main issue I took with this product was that it couldn't just be installed as is. As others have commented, there is a problem with the two pieces sliding together because of the screw head and the way it sticks out. My set would not seat together even with the screw heads installed dead center. Well, some would and some wouldn't. I used a drill bit to ream out the holes more so that the screw head would sit farther in. While I was at it, I gave it enough of a counter-sink to fit a longer, more sturdy screw. The screws provided are under-sized in my opinion. They may hold the pieces on, but from my experience, it will begin to fall apart in time. I like the furniture I make to last. I very much dislike screws coming loose and wood that gets stripped because of that. Concept is excellent - very sturdy and I recommend this style bracket. Just adjust the counter-sink and the size of screws. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because I shouldn't have to do that much adjusting on my own. The manufacturer should be doing these things.

No-mortice bedrail anchors
A really tight installation except I had to do it twice because there were no instructions and I put the wrong bracket on the sideboard first time around. I should have given it more thought. But instructions would have saved me a lot of time. My only real criticism though is that the supplied #8 screws on the bracket with the studs stuck up a little high. This kept the slotted angle bracket from sliding flush around the studs. Initially I tried grinding them flush but then I opted to swap them out for #6 screws.

Not Strong Enough
These seemed great when I got them. They were very easy to install and the convenience of not needing any tools to assemble the bed when you're moving is an awesome idea. I went through and installed them without any issues, but the bed was extremely wobbly and rather creaky which only worsened over time. It held together well at first, but once you started putting any kind of weight (a mattress, a person, two persons) it would start to loosen up. In an attempt to try remedy the situation, I took the hardware off and applied liquid nails to the back of them and reattached them. That didn't last long, it was back to being creaky and extremely wobbly. I was continuously worried that the entire bed was just going to collapse one night. Ultimately, I removed these and went with some heavy duty brackets that I bought from Home Depot. This was a good product and well-intentioned, it's just not big enough hardware to be able to support a large bed (Queen Size). Also, with the additional "dynamic loading" that I would place on the bed, the entire thing would shake and creak like none other to the point where I was continuously waiting for it to collapse. It might work if you used longer screws to hold the brackets in place, but they only work if all of the screws are flush and so you would need to find longer screws that would sink perfectly into the holes that this hardware has. Overall, I would not recommend this product for use, but it did work well and was easy to install hence 2 stars as oppose to 1.

Look elsewhere for bed brackets
I strongly suggest another option. I took a great deal of time and effort to mount these brackets on a recently built custom bed frame. In spite of my best efforts the bed was a wobbly mess. After one night sleeping on it I noticed the much too small screws were beginning to pull away along one of the side rails. I really did not dare sleep on it for a second night as is. I ran to the Rockler store and bought their 5 inch bed brackets. 2.5 hours later the bed is rock solid - thanks to another product. As others have noted, the screw head does not sit flush with the hardware. This was resolved pretty easily with a metal step drill bit, but with an added expense of $20 and a moderate amount of frustration. However, this is a relatively small thing compared to the issue with the wobble. These may be useful for certain projects but I do not believe these ought to be advertised as ‘bed brackets’.

The brackets are well made and quite strong, however the screws that were supplied with them are less than 1/2 ". Not enough hold for a Queen bed frame. I had to go out and buy 3/4 " screws to install them with.

The screws provided are next to useless and have 0% chance to support the rack force of a bed. Buy a different kit or use different screws. The mount plates are okay i have no idea why they would send those screws...
