I use them to do calisthenics twice a week

These are so much better than complete metal ones or ones with rubber/neoprene covered handles. First they look a lot nicer. Second they are a lot more comfortable to touch. Third you are less likely to slip when you get sweaty palms. Finally they will not wear out and they will last a long time. I found them easy to assemble and they came well packaged. They are also quite easy to take apart from transport. They are quite heavy but that is because they are strongly made and you cannot expect anything less.
