I've now had this steamer for 6 years and it still looks like new I use it on a weekly basis more than once and can honestly say if looked after probably it will last for ages my mother is now looking for a new one and will be buying one for her as it is so simple to use and cooks food perfectly and tasty, only tip i can pass on is clean it in warm soapy water and not the dishwasher.

This product is great. It steams vegetables within 15 minutes and everything tastes fresh and juicy. I'm trying to lose weight and this product is perfect for that. I've used it for fish and chicken and both tasted great.

Disappointed as although I liked the look of the steamer, it came with a 2-pin plug which meant is was not earthed and I felt it was not suitable for the UK. A free adapter to change to a 3-pin was offered by the supplier. I worry that people would use a shaver adapter, this would not have a 13amp fuse in it and could cause the electricity to flip off. I have an adapter to convert from 3 to 2 pin which does have a 13amp fuse in it, but it states for occasional use only- basically for holiday use only. My daughter use to use it when she came for a holiday from France where their plugs have no earth as voltage to sockets is 230 not 240 as in the UK. I am not sure how save this item would be if used daily. The supplier did refund my money.

Poor quality plastic that does not last, we bought our a couple of years ago and in that time the bottom basket has had to be replaced as it just splits after a few months. The third basket is also splitting and we cannot replace it again as they are not making replacements, so it is the bin for the steamer. If I had known the plastic on this steamer was of such poor quality, I definitely would not have bought it

I HAVE HAD 3 OF THESE IN THE LAST 10 MONTHS.IT HAS ALWAYS HAD THE SAME FAULT AND LUCKILY THE COMPANY I BOUGHT IT FROM REPLACED THEM BUT I CANT GO BACK AGAIN ! ITS IN THE DUMP NOW AND IM BACK TO MY MECHANICAL ONE WHICH I HAVE HAD FOR 10 YEARS OR MORE.IT'S STILL A TEFAL VITACUISINE AND DOESENT LOOK AS NICE BUT IT ALWAYS WORKED.I ALSO BOUGHT A USED ONE AS A BACK UP.IT WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION

Il prodotto è arrivato con una brutta botta nella parte bassa, purtroppo si era proprio rotta la base del raccoglitore d'acqua, il che rendeva la vaporiera inutilizzabile. Fortunatamente il servizio resi di Amazon è eccezionale e dopo due giorni avevo già una seconda vaporiera a casa... perfetta! La uso tutte le settimane, metto pesce e verdure o riso nei ripiani al mattino prima di andare a lavoro, imposto la partenza ritardata e quando torno a casa in pausa pranzo trovo tutto caldo e buonissimo, con zero condimenti! Anche per il riso è perfetta, non fatevi problemi se non c'è il classico contenitore del riso: i vassoi sono studiati apposta! Basta mettere il riso nel vassoio, aggiungere pari quantità di acqua e un pizzico di sale... fatto. L'acqua viene assorbita dal riso ed è veramente buono. A volte cucino sia verdure, sia pesce sia riso, e l'odore del pesce non "infastidisce" gli altri alimenti. Per quanto riguarda il vapore che esce, sì un pò ne fa, ma non in quantità eccessive. Altra cosa importante: tutti i pezzi removibili si lavano in lavastoviglie senza problemi. Ogni tanto è bene pulire la vasca dell'acqua dal calcare: le istruzioni del libretto sono ottime, basta riempire d'acqua e aggiungere un pò di aceto e lasciare agire una notte... zero fatica e ottimo risultato! Uno dei prodotti migliori che abbia mai preso!

Beste, Nog nieuw, er zit een vlek Ik dacht dat het van roestvrij staal was, maar het lijkt plastic te zijn. Ik moest sparen en wachten op een lagere prijs om het te kopen. Maar ik ben echt teleurgesteld over de kwaliteit voor een groot merk! Para transferini Pazartesi sabah yaptım. Satıcı aynı gün kargo yaptı. Ürünü problemsiz olarak Çarşamba günü teslim aldım. Herhangi bir gümrük vergisi veya kargo parası ayrıca ödemedim. Aynı ürünü ülkemizde en az iki katı fiyata satıyorlar. Tefal zaten kaliteli üretim yapan bir marka. Üründe muffakta mutlaka olması gereken bir alet. Sadece diyet için düşünmeyin. Satıcı ve ürünü tavsiye ediyorum.
