I truly did not even know that these were a thing but wow, what a useful thing. We were trying to hang lights out on our deck area, but there are no outlets outside. We debated battery powered, but those don’t last long and are a hassle to remember to charge. We were looking for an alternative and found this. We have an outdoor light that we don’t even really use, so we just unscrewed the bulb and screwed this in its place. It works great and we haven’t had any issues with it. Let’s us turn our lights on and off with the light switch too which is nice. It was easy to install and seems sturdy and safe. It puts off a great amount of light and allowed us to use the adapter to plug out hanging lights in.

These solve the problem of forgetting to turn the lights off! They're pretty slim and fit into most enclosures. Very simple to install - just screw the bulb in, then screw the assembly into your light. I have these outdoors on all of our enclosed lights - and they work like a charm. They detect when it's dark, and turn on the light. We even have one on a covered porch and it works perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by that. One thing to note, when you first flip the light switch on, the light WILL blink, then turn off as the daylight sensor kicks in. If it's dark out, your light will then turn on. If it's light out, the light will stay off. Really good product for energy saving + a great value.

Great lighting. Hope they hold up. Mounted two 5 clusters to ceiling in garage and one to wall in front of truck. Very pleased so far.
