DeLonghie Dolce Gusto Melody machine fixed in a jiffy. Unbelievable how the original seal has shrunk with age. Great quality part. No more leaking water tank.

Good well fitting seal. Stripped off the outer casing to reveal the original hardened seal. This is a definite improvement of quality.

Cheap and simple fix. Remove the 5 screws using a Torx T10 screwdriver. Remove the cover plate and swap the old seal for the new one. Refit the cover plate and screws. Leak fixed!

There is a common problem with Dolce Gusto machines. The wayer inlet seal perishes over time. This is the replacement part! I startes having leaks after around 10 years, and worked out ways of stopping the leak without a repair. It lasted 10 years because I have been using bottled water to reduce limescale damage, so i have defonatwly been looking after it. Im sure some people would say to replace it after 10 years, but I dont like the newer models and the only issue is a leak. The inlet seal had been in my basket for years, but i could manage the leak. I eventually gave in, ordered and it arrived a couple of days later. Initially it looked like the part was not compatible, because it did not resemble the parts in the inlet area. The original part was black and felt like hard plastic, unlike the new red soft seal. It mist have hardened and shrunk over the years. Anyway it is a little tricky pulling out the hard original seal, bit a pick ot a small flat screwdriver is all you need to pull it out. The new part is much easier to pop in and you will immediately see the difference. The new part fills the inlet much better and creates an excellent seal. Theres videos on youtube and other amazon reviews, a picture paints a thousand words. If you have a leak, buy one of these and fix your machine. It took me a couple of minites, beacuse Iwas over cautious, this can realistically be changed in seconds. Full 5 stars. Early delivery of a perfect part that was simple to change and has save me the cost of a new machine.

Easily replaced water tank seal in base of Dolce Gusto Krup coffee machine - without taking it apart. Old seal came out with a little persuasion from a small screwdriver, the new seal went in by pressing it in using fingers only. Tested - no more leaks 👍👍
