KJV My Promise Bible Hardcover

I have owned this for a little under 2 months now and I am flawed at the exceptional quality and work that has gone into this edition This is the best bible edition i now own (i currently own roughly 6 bibles) this one being my favourite the art style is so beautifully comprised! the style makes reading and colouring this bible extremely pleasant and enjoyable for those who struggle to read. I have difficulty reading in general, and can easily pick this bible up to read over and over, finding what i need using the bible tabs is ‘more’ than enjoyable also. The bible tabs it comes with are the best tabs i have seen i would absolutely love it if they were purchasable ‘separately’ for other bibles I own.. no other bible tabs online come close to these ones! You get ‘more’ than your moneys worth! The only thing missing is that there is no dictionary within, which makes some words in this version hard.. however, my ESV bible can help with that (or a google search for extra quickness) Another very good thing in this bible, is that there are huge sections of pages called ‘bible promises’ at the back of the book, so you can find a particular topic / verses throughout the bible for whatever you need to be looking for at the time.. eg. Acceptance, anxiety, compassion, forgiveness etc. There are 52 themes to choose from! If you are wanting to look at a verse for a particular emotion you feel, or situations / circumstances you find yourself in, this is an extremely helpful part of the bible I highly recommend this bible over all other KJV bibles! Or any other version (No matter of age) I do wish there were colouring bibles like this for boys tbh for my young son.. but colouring bibles for boys are no where near on par with artwork within or have good enough quality 😕 If the authors of this book see this review, i do hope this can be considered in the future?

This bible is so cute. Especially for someone trying learn the word. The colouring and details really help with meditating on the word (even at 29 lol). The pages are on bible paper (obviously) which is alway thinner than normal paper. I recommend testing your medium of choice on the back pages that show which pages have designs. These are still on bible paper so you'll be able to see if it leaks/bleeds through etc. I've found coloured pencils work well and older felt tips that are a little dried out. Water colour paints fine, gel pens also. Brush pens I assume will bleed as the nearly did on the thicker pages in the beginning of the book or use very light strokes possibly, I didn't risk it.

I have been looking for a 3-in-1 KJV bible to read, colour and journal in and this is almost perfect! You do get a lot for your money with this bible, as it has the Epistle Dedicatory, a summary of each of the 66 books of the bible along with key promise verses. Each Psalm has a sub-heading such as a prayer for deliverance, justice, victory etc. bible promises by themes such as for anxiety, blessing, contentment, depression, peace, refuge and so on, and 11 pages at the back to be used for notes, prayers etc. whilst colouring in the surrounding areas - lovely! The hardcover is gorgeous and very tactile, the paper is thicker than a traditional bible and the art and line work is beautiful plus you get your bible tabs! Should Christian Art Publishers produce a large print version of this bible, I would not hesitate to re-purchase x

This is a stunner of a bible and perfect for bible journalers, not only those who like the idea of colouring-in the pre-drawn images but also who want to unleash their creative side and draw their own pictures into the spaces. The pages are a cream colour (as opposed to white or ivory) and looks really classy. I had to return it as it wasn't a colourway suitable for the recipient but if I didn't already own a colouring bible myself, would have kept it in a heartbeat. It's also a flex cover which I find more tactile than a hardcover. For whom this is as important as it is to me, the Verse numbers are shown at the beginning of the sentence (ie they sit neatly underneath one another) so are really easy to find - no scrabbling about, mid-sentence, looking for them. If only all bibles did this!

This is simply beautiful, it's size is comfortable in your hand, it lies open flat with ease, ha s wonderful illustrations and plenty of room for your own designs or notes, lots of extras like the stickers and tabs in the back cover pocket, an thicker paper last few pages to really are your own style, but most of all, a lovely comfortable read, I can't put it down, it's wonderful.

I bought this Bible to be able to write my notes in and highlight and annotate and it’s such a beautiful Bible! There’s space either side with lines for you to be able to write, it is easy to read and there are also pages in the Bible with verses on that you are able to colour. Great product.

Bought this as a gift it is beautiful. The print size is smaller . So if you’re needing giant print or even larger print it’s not the Bible for you . It has room for notes . Coloring Bible so you can personalize it your way . Good value . Good gift for teen girl .

Beautiful I have purchased all series and gifted them to youth this is my second purchase for this particular edition

It is as shown in the picture. Hard Bound. Beautiful .Pages are off white. The letters are average size not for those looking for big lettered Bible. Writing with marker may stain on the other side. But ball point pens and pencils work fine. Overall happy with the purchase. Plenty of space to write notes or journal personal events next to promise verses.

My Promise Bible itself is fantastic, however I was expecting the Words spoken by Jesus to be in red print and my copy doesn't have it. Thank you
