Casual Home Kennedy End Table Drawer, Concealment Furniture, Warm Brown

Well built. Simple to assemble. Heavier than I thought it would be for the price. Works well, and functions as intended. No problems with mine as some others have reported. I don't open it every day, but I have owned it for about 15 months and it still looks and works like new. I would recommend it. The hidden drawer conceals very nicely. We don't have children in our home any longer, but depending on what you are putting in it, you may want to consider a locking mechanism if you do.

So yesterday I had recieved my Table and upon opening it I had noticed some things wrong already. There was damage to one of the legs (minimal) there is also lots of areas where they had screwed that are cracked. Also the drawer has very very cheap material for the locks. Almost similar to cardboard, one peice had crumbled the minute I went to turn the lock, thankfully with a little bit of creativity you could make a replacement for the locks. The table seems quite sturdy, the wood is really solid but the drawer and damages were very disappointing for the price.

I bought this as a used item thinking someone bought it and returned it. Which is fine, since I have cat’s I figured it would be OK. The size is good with plants of room for a full size 1911, or a revolver in the hidden storage draw. The assembly was so simple an 8 year old could have done it without the instructions. It is fairly stabile, a little wobbly but over all it’s still stable. It is solid wood for the most part the only parts that I would not consider wood are the drawer bottom, and the drawer stop which seams to be some kind of pressed paper board maybe hardy board as it had delaminated. The latch that holds the drawer in its concealed position is a simple block of wood, cut and slotted which is good if you need to access the concealed item quickly. The problem is, that the wood legs looked like someone took a ball peen hammer to two of them, and the box looked like it had been dropped a few times which explains the broken drawer lock and warped drawer frame. I would not recommend buying this table to store firearms in, if you have kids as it offers zero security outside of concealment. It’s also obviously made of pine, with a brown stain with a satin finish but it still looks good and I like the simplistic style that’s perfect for a simple farm house style. Just don’t expect a high end piece of furniture, but it’s still better then a piece of MDF furniture from IKEA.

Excellent product, easy to assemble all you have to do is install the 4 legs, and they give you the tool for that. Sturdy table, well worth the money. Made of real wood, no particle board. I could not have bought the material and built it for the same price. Does the job by hiding thing in plain sight. I will be buying a second one in the future
