Kanu SurfGirls' Alania Flounce Bikini Beach Sport 2 Piece Swimsuit

I purchased this suit for my picky 12-year old daughter who's in the 6th grade. I ordered size 12 and it fit perfectly. She typically wears 12-14 in tops and bottoms and is a size large/XL in girls undergarments. Unfortunately the color pattern she wanted of this design wasn't available in her size so she wasn't crazy about it right out of the package. The suit fit well but she called the bottoms "granny panties" and said the material was too thick on the sides. I would agree that it didn't quite match the photo shows. There's a cute pattern on the bum and she loved the cross of the straps in the back. The quality seems decent - not the highest or the lowest of girls' suits I've purchased. I can vouch for brand as we purchased a suit for my son 2 years ago which held up well with heavy use. Unfortunately, it just didn't make the list given color scheme and the style of the bottoms. If you want a less revealing, inexpensive bikini for your daughter, this one would be a good choice.

So I bought this for my child who is not large for her age, as a BD gift. She had been asking for a "two-piece." I took a quick look and put it away for her. The weather was finally warm enough for a swim so I took it out to use and had a closer look. The crotch is less than an inch and a half across! There is no way she could wear this in public! The window for returns has closed, but I would never buy a suit that was cut this way for a child.

This bikini is adorable. Bright colors and beautiful pattern. Bottoms with moderate cover, I’d say about 2.5 inches wide on the side. No issues with wedgies either. My daughter is 12 and has an athletic build. She’s 60” tall and about 100lbs. I got her a size 14 and it fit like a glove. She was very happy with the bottoms covering her butt and the top not being low cut in the front. It’s hard at this age finding a bikini that’s cute but not girlie or to “adult”. Perfect for this age.

my daughter is tall and slender. 10 years old, she weighs 75lbs, 4ft 7in tall. Very cute color and pattern, snug enough to withstand the waves, but not be uncomfortable.

THE COLORS FADE SUPER FAST! DO NOT BUY! I own a pool and bought this swimsuit for my daughter who swims a couple of days a week. Pretty normal for summertime. This swimsuit started losing its color the first week she wore it! By week 2 it was starting to get dull and by week 3 it had completely lost its vibrant colors and was very faded and light colors. It came a deep dark purple with pops of colors in blues, aqua, pink & white. Now it just looks old and faded. What a disappointment considering I paid over $20 for it and they’re super cute prints. I’ve never seen this happen this fast to any of my swimsuits or my daughters. Her other swimsuits were bought last summer from Old Navy and they haven’t faded at all and she wears them all the time! I cared for the swimsuit properly and never left it outside in the sun. This is VERY cheaply made. Don’t waste your money! Also runs big and the bottoms look saggy on my daughter. All around a big disappointment and complete waste of my hard earned money. Never again will I buy from this company. See pictures above for reference although the camera doesn’t quite show how truly faded they are, but it will give you a rough idea. Complete rubbish! You’ve been warned.

This suit is age appropriate for a 6 year old, if you are searching for a bikini. My little one has grown rapidly, so I needed something that could grow with her. This suit fits her slim, athletic frame well. The bottoms are a bit loose at the waist, but she enjoys the fit, because they are not too too tight. They have never fallen off or become saggy in the bum. After hot tubs, pools, the beach, this still has great elasticity and look. This was a tremendous buy!

Bought this for my 9-year-old. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size larger than she usually wears (12), but upon first glance it was was too big for her, so I returned it and ordered a 10 which fit her perfectly (her usual size). I love that it is a cute bikini that stays in place as she plays in the ocean swimming and diving through waves.

Super cute swim suit with beautiful colors! I bought this same swim suit last year for my granddaughter but it was too small. I tried to order it in a larger size but it was unavailable at that time. It was so cute I didn't even bother sending it back. I gave it to a friend's daughter for her birthday. I was super excited to see it available this year in a larger size. I do have to say the suit runs a little on the small side. My granddaughter is 4 1/2 years old with a medium build. She typically wears a size 5 in little girls clothing. I ordered this swim suit in a 6 and a 6x just to make sure it fit this time. We ended up keeping the 6x.

Está muy bonito, a pesar de que el calzón trae corte como de adulto (no cintura un poco más alta como se acostumbra para niñas) entonces viste un poco chiquito. Mi niña de 3 años es flaquita, le compre talla 2 y le quedó muy bien.

Bonito diseño y cómodo. Pero sí hay que tener cuidado con la talla. Gracias a las otras reseñas, pedí talla 7 para mi niña de casi 5 años y le quedo solo un poco grande.

Viste muy bien, de buena calidad. A mi niña de 6 años, 22kg y 1,18m le compré talla 5 y le quedó perfecto.

Lo compre para mi hija de 12 años, le compre el talla 14 y le quedo perfecto.

Le quedo increíble a mi hija tiene 9 años pero es grande y le pedi talla 12 y le quedo super!! Excelente calidad
