Yes it works on WD Live products!
Finally you can buy a controller for the WD products! The price was soo worth it , that I bought two of them.I have two WD Live units and I needed controllers. It may feel like the buttons are a bit different from each other when pressed but it is so worth it! Nothing to program, works right out of the box.

Works just like the original.
I added a photo of the new controller next to the original to show they are 99% the same. It functions very well. All the buttons easy depress and work properly. The remote itself is indistinguishable in quality from the original. These remotes are from a pretty old media player, so it's good to see you can get replacement remotes when they no longer function or the buttons don't respond like they used to. Good replacement remote.
