Or the ponytail wearing person in your life. It fit well and the ponytail sticking through makes the hat feel more comfy on your head, the ponytail kind of keeps the hat from moving around and they are apparently stylish. The comments from a daughter and daughterinlaw who both sport ponies and work out in the winter. They love them so they are cool with me.

Needed a lightweight hat for running and wanted one with openings for a ponytail. This one works great! With the headphones I use, it does not keep my ears covered very well but I just put a wide headband underneath it to protect my ears from the wind. I have only used it in temps above 25 degrees and it keeps me comfortably warm.

I got long hair and I have the worse time with hats when I go hiking I need a protection for the sun and this is perfect!

I do like them amd they do work for long hair.. they are just not tight enough for me around my head so they do ride up after a while.

I wear a 7 5/8 hat which includes my thick hair. Even in a ponytail and pulled through the cap, the cap is short (almost to ears but not quite). If it doesn't cover the ears, its worthless when running in the cold. Bummer.

This is the perfect hat for running I'm cold but not freezing weather. I do not overheat. My hair stays out.of my way. I like having two slots for ponytail so I can wear high or low. I have bought 3 different style TrailHeads hats plus a headband. I love them all. The products are high quality and very comfortable.

I live in FL and don’t often have to buy warm gear, but had a half marathon coming up with predicted freezing temps. This hat was absolutely perfect. Nice and light, but kept my head warm without getting too hot! Super comfortable and doesn’t move!

I bought this hat to wear on my early morning runs as temperatures started going down, but I gave this hat to my 6-year old daughter because it is tiny. It didn’t come close to covering my ears and looked like a too-small, ill-fitting swim cap. Not impressed.

I like the material, I have a small head, the ponytail is much lower than the picture and it is a small fit, only just covers my ears.

Very good quality; stretchy and soft. Has two ponytail holes (high and low). Reflective decorations make you easy to spot in darker lighting. Very great product. Would buy again.

I run most days, even in the cold, in the rain and in the snow and this hat has been great. I don't need to wear my hair up in a bun anymore, or try to tuck it all in a normal woolly hat. This hat is warm but breathes well and my head is not over heating anymore even on the warmer winter days. It's the perfect size for my head; fitted but not annoyingly tight, covers my ears but I can easily fold up the bottom if I need to hear better when I'm on the road. And it has the option for a high or low pony tail. I've been using for a couple of months now and I'm really happy with it, it's also been through the washing machine with no problems. If it was available in some brighter colours I would buy another one...
