These lights are pretty bright and work well Housing is plastic not metal (in case that matters to anyone) Don’t light up all night and usually last until early hours but did install them at the end of summer.. overall happy with them for what I paid

Wanted to add decorative lighting to some of the larger flower pots in the garden and these worked wonderfully. The neat and tidy design worked well when in place and gave a subtle glow to the surrounding plant....

Contrary to what was written in the reviews, these came with plastic spikes (not metal) which was a disappointment. The 3 different sections of the light (i.e. metal tube where the spike is inserted, white plastic section for illumination and the top with the solar panel) just sit on top of each other rather loosely and seem very insecure (e.g. if knocked/not upright the sections would come apart); it would be better if they screwed together so were a complete unit. They look fine in situ for now (although the light emitted is not very bright), but seem rather cheap and flimsy and not thoughtfully designed to result in a robust product. I doubt that these will last very long.. I imagine that a strong wind (or a passing football/animal) will soon blow the tops off!

Why did you choose this product over others?: I wanted some solar lights but I’ve not had good result with prior purchases mainly due to lack of sun in our British weather. I bought these as you can charge them through a USB cable. They took initially a few hours to charge and I’m so impressed with them. Even over winter they stay on all night. I have had them for 1 year now I’ve only charged them twice following the initial charge. I’ll likely charge them again when winter approaches just to top up the battery. I had these as I needed lights to light my steps in the dark evenings. They were packaged well and looked okay once unboxed. I put them in the garden to light up the steps, first night they all worked, the 2nd night 2 had failed and would not light up at all. I've requested a return and refund. In future, I'd rather pay more money and get something with quantity.

Very cheap feeling and didn't gold a charge well despite being in full sun for hours. Not worth the money

Excellent lights matched with excellent customer service. Has the added advantage of being able to charge via USB!
