From many options available, I think this is one of best. Especially if you have a tiny kitchen, like me, but lots of spices.The magnets feel strong, and the jars hold well to my fridge and to the backing plates. I like that they provide the plates, in case you don't want to attach them to a magnetic surface, but screw holes would have made them more versatile. Then, you could fix them to any surface.The adhesive pads look good quality, with some thickness, so might work for painted walls or wallpaper, as some types do. But others only work for very smooth surfaces. In such cases, I have used adhesive vinyl underneath, which will stick to most wall surfaces, and is an ideal surface for adhesive, plus, easy to remove.These feel and look well made, finish is good and edges are smooth. Lids are a bit stiff to turn to start, but will likely ease with time, so better than too loose.I would have preferred stainless steel lids. There is no advantage to being able to see the contents, as you cannot tell paprika from chilli powder by sight. And it exposes contents to light, makes the containers harder to clean and will likely not last as long as the rest.Jars are a good size, and look like they'll hold 100 grams (says 100 ml capacity). Will try and update this when I've tested them more.You get 120 labels, 24 of those blank.Overall, am really pleased with them and will likely get another set.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy.

I've always wanted a set of these, but never got around to purchasing. When I saw these available, I thought I'd give them a go and they are great.I didn't use the metal strips & sticky pads that come with this, I have a very large fridge and I popped them on there instead. They are to hand, and I love that you can either sprinkle (via the small opening) or get more out of these using the other side which is a larger opening (no individual holes punched in, but one large opening). The only thing to bear in mind, is to remember to lie them horizontally and give them a shake before turning the top, otherwise you can make a mess (done this more than once at the start, once you make a mess a few times, you remember to give them a shake to level out). They also come with some spice stickers, which I've used. Overall, I highly recommend these because it's made it easier to use and get to my spices (I buy a lot in bulk as we get through loads of spices), and storing and using from bags is not easy.

This is a great set of magnetic spice/herb jars. They adhere very well to the side of my fridge-freezer, freeing up a lot of counter space as previously I had the herbs and spices sitting next to my cooker. You can twist them so that there are sprinkler holes for your finer herbs or a little slot to let out the less fine ones, or just remove the top. They have been good for all my herbs and spices except for bay leaves (you can put a few smaller ones in) and lemon grass, which is too big.It comes with a set of labels which I think covers most herbs/spices but they've included a sheet of blanks if you want to add your own - however these, in keeping with the named ones, are black, so you would need a suitable pen to write on them.If you don't have a suitable magnetic surface for the little pots they've included three metal strips with round indents and stickers to fix them to any surface you like. I haven't used these as I don't need them, but I'll hold on to them in case I decide to move them in future.Although these are ideal for herbs/spices they could also be used for general storage of small items, e.g. for elastic bands, tacks etc.Good looking and useful too - very pleased!

I soaked these in a bowl of soapy water prior to using. While washing, I got cut by a container. These are poorly finished, hence the rough edges and the injury. The lid of one container was impossible to remove. I am returning this product.
