Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju 2

Descending Stories is about a young man learning an old Japanese performance form, Rakugo, which is a form of theatrical storytelling. Issue two focuses largely on the back story of his sensei, dating back to before World War II, and is a pretty good story. I'm finding it interesting as a look at the real world of an obscure corner of the world, a good story well told. I'm picking up an issue every month or so, and I'm still reading.

I love that we are finally getting to know the younger shisho and his deceased friend. The pacing is excellent. And her facial expressions are so perfect. She is very talented at telling you exactly what you need to know and no filler. The characterization is very well done. And there is so much emotion, i cant say enough good things. Im very excited for the next volume!!

He comprado varios números de esta serie, a mi en lo personal me encanta debido a la historia de Kumota. La calidad del libro es excepcional, respecto al arte y al material, la impresión todo muy cuidado. Me gustan tanto, nos los decepcionará.
