My nephew loves it
I got this as a gift for my 3 year old nephew. It was easy to put together and he loves playing with it. He has spent hours playing with the track.

The music will haunt you
My toddler loves the toy but unfortunately the toy will only work while the music is going and after a while it gets you a bit crazy

Fun Toy But Can't Use Much
Functionality: The track is easy enough to put together. The cars are smaller than expected but it is a fun and engaging toy. I would say maybe a bit older than 3 for the age, maybe 4 and older would be a better recommended age because of the small cars. There is a strange design choice in the musical tune having to play whenever the track is turned on for the climbing belt. It would be better if you could turn it off.Quality: It is fine for a toy car track with cars. I wouldn't say it is on the level of a hot wheels set, but it is certainly usable and younger children will notice no difference. Does not seem in danger of breaking or falling apart.Value: For the $20 price range, I think this is a good value for the amount of playtime and enjoyment in this toy. Could be better value if the playtime were more sustainable (no music).Would I Buy? Yes, especially if the constant on music wasn't a function. I do still think this has been a fun and engaging toy for 4+.

A surprisingly huge hit as a Christmas gift for a 4 year old boy.
This was a Christmas gift for a four year old boy, and he absolutely loves it. So does his 6 year old sister! she plays with this toy more than she plays with her brand new Barbie house, which she had been asking for over and over for quite some time.It took a surprising amount of time to assemble, but that may be because I had the "help" of a four year old. ;) Nonetheless, know that assembly is required though the instructions are clear enough to get you through it.The music that it plays is far less annoying than the sounds that come from many toys these days, but it gets annoying after awhile. I think all toy manufacturers would be wise to build-in the ability to turn-off the sound, for the sanity of the adults that otherwise are forced to hear it.It is made from a form of plastic that I don't expect to last long: As soon as he falls against it, knocks it off a table or kicks something into it, it will *very* the rigid plastic will very likely snap. All that aside though, it was a huge hit, and how long do kids play with any toy before they get bored and move on to the next thing?

Annoying
Ok, so the cars for the track are tiny--like the size of the first joint of my thumb. The design is nice--easy to build, no tools required. Instructions are relatively easy to follow. However, the deal breaker is that there is no way to run the track without the SUPER annoying tinny-sounding music--it's a tune from the Sound of Music, I think, and it is AWFUL. It's so annoying, we had to get rid of the toy. You can't really play with the track without it running--the way the cars move up the track is via a rubber belt that is powered by the batteries. Overall, it's a good idea, good design--but the annoying music makes it awful.

Easy To Build
The kit arrived with everything except for the three AA batteries. It was easy to build. The instructions are not difficult to follow. Two of the signal-sticks broke on the first day at the base. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. The cars get stuck going down the ramps and you gotta kinda push them along, but for the most part the other cars bump into the stuck one and pushes it along. My daughter loves it anyway.

kinda noisy but fun
Fun race track. As another reviewer noted, the music can be a bit grating. A couple pieces of electric tape over the speaker can help quiet it down some. My nephew likes the dinosaur theme.
