Great guitar kit. Suggested.
First guitar kit I have purchased. This kit is amazing. Build and and finishing pretty simple. Set up was pretty easy after the build. The action and intonation were real close. Didn't need much adjustment on the truss rod. Sounded great with stock pickups, but I opted to put in different ones. Double humbuckers made to fit strat style guitars. And new control knobs. Plays as well as any name brand guitar. My other guitars include Gibson SG, Fender Telecaster, Ibanez, Washburn And BC Rich. Very lightweight. Kick out the jams brothers and sisters. Update. Added new pickguard and control knobs August 2021 🎸🎶🤘

you get what you pay for
The wood is lightweight and sands extremely easily. it also dents easily. The routing and shaping were done ok. This needed a lot of sanding prior to finishing. The electronics cutouts and the neck joint were actually really good and required near zero attention.I did not use the included electronics as I went with a different setup.this ended up playing nicely.<< added photo >>

I just Had to Modify This GEM of a DIY Guitar Kit!
Becoming a seasoned at home guitar builder I decide to take this Awesome little guitar Kit OVER-THE-TOP! Lol, And After Re-shaping the headstock, adding water-slide logo, doing a complete fret job, making a custom Relic body transformation, like it is turning 50 years old, Upgrading the Bridge Pick up, changing the knobs to Black and adding some LED additions, I might Have Just Done This!! This guitar Plays Perfect and (Mostly) Looks Perfect!!! Was A ton of fun, and took about 4 days to accomplish. This is a Top quality Kit, And is Not a Toy Or Childs guitar In My Opinion. It does have a Smaller neck profile, But This makes it perfect as a travel guitar. I'm going to buy another exact kit, but this time make one more it traditional. I highly recommend this Guitar DIY Kit and company, "FretWire" sells quality, Top KNOTCK Kits at a Great Price! I'm Giving This Guild A 5 Star, A+++ Rating

Good kit. Worth the money for sure.
I had 2 small problems with this guitar and I fixed 1 with a YouTube video. The 10th fret wire was sitting just a little too high so I had a fret buzz on my high e and b string but the buzz was only on the 9th fret. I took a rubber mallet and gave it two taps and fixed it right up. 2and problem I had was just very cheap strings. I broke my high e on the first day and just went down and got a whole new set of good strings. Other than that she plays nicely. Pickups could be better but they can also be changed out.

Not a good product
Fret edges not finished properly and frets themselves have dimples all along the top. Body has small cracks, multiple holes and scratches. Sadly the electronics are better than the wood Have always heard good things about this company but won’t buy from again.

Not worth it
Bought this as a Christmas present for my hubby. He's been wanting a new guitar for so long, so I decided on this more expensive one, because of the reviews. He has put it together and it does NOT sound right, it sounds so out of time and he has tightened the strings as tight as they will go. Idk if its a faulty part or what, but him and I are very dissapointed.

Great strat kit
This is an awesome kit. Everything fits perfectly. I’m buying another just to custom more than paint but the hardware that comes with it is perfect. Highly recommend this one

Excellent wood and finishing.
Once again, very happy with wood and finishing and price. Very impressive construction. Many kits purchased from this company and all have been excellent. Thank you!
