Just what I needed!
Using as part of an escape room for my students. Along with the combination locks in the picture. Good quality for what I am using it for. I'm not using it outdoors or to secure anything other than lock boxes. But, I am satisfied.

This works great for an escape room prop!

Worked perfectly for space too narrow to fit padlock
This was just as described. I was unable to fit a padlock on my gate, but the construction of this gadget made it possible, and I could add a padlock to it to secure my gate. Perfect!

Great but needs oil
Added a little bit of oil and it works like a charm. It was really tough to move before that.

Good for the price
I give 5 stars to this item due to it's balance price quality even though, this jaw is very light and simple it is a safety device and the idea is to use Lockout Tagout system which no one should try to break one. Considering that this item works for what it was made and for a low price

Why Dogs can't be electricians:
Non-traditional use: We have a couple of huskies here that do boarding and daycare with us. They are among a few dogs who have defeated every other means we have to secure gates and kennel doors (short of actual padlocks) around here. Adding in an electrician's lockout hasp between the usual snaplinks/carabiners/etc. and the door's bolt has been enough to effectively stop them ... (...until they evolve to having thumbs)!
