Features Thermostatic Mixer Valve: user set temperature that will remain constant regardless of any change in water pressure 1-Way function for either a shower overhead or shower handset Modern innovation and precision engineering complemented with a stunning design Constructed from a high quality brass for superior construction, extra strength, long-lasting durability and heavyweight feel Shower valve body is beautifully designed and powerfully sculpted Polished mirror chrome finish that will look absolutely stunning in any bathroom setting Thermostatic Control with built-in Anti Scalding Device - water temperature set at 38ºC that can be overridden Ergonomically designed round handles provide an easy comfortable grip Each handle has a specific function: On/Off Flow Control & Water Pressure, Temperature Control Design face-plate with laser printed dials British standard fittings Easy smooth turning ceramic disc technology Total width: 200mm Adjustable pipe centres - 150mm-155mm Working Requirements The thermostatic shower valve works on water systems that produce a minimum of 0.5 bar - 5.0bar water pressure. This can be achieved by using one of the following systems: Combination boiler systems Gravity fed systems (only with a pump) Megaflow system Pumped hot water systems Standard pressurized hot water cylinder type systems If you water pressure is less than 0.5 bar, we suggest installing a shower booster pump. Flow Rates (water at 38C) 0.1 bar - 4.9 l/min 0.2 bar - 8.0 l/min 0.5 bar - 13.6 l/min 1.0 bar - 18.6 l/min 2.0 bar - 26.5 l/min 3.0 bar - 32.2 l/min 4.0 bar - 37.2 l/min 5.0 bar - 41.5 l/min

excellent value
Arrived within a few days of ordering. Looks well made, very heavy. This was to replace an existing valve, I had to switch round my feed pipes to hot on the left and cold to the right.Everything fitted into exactly the same position and looks good. Have not had to balance the flow, worked perfectly first time, good temperature range.

Seems like a solid piece of kit
Have just fitted this shower to replace a similar type of mixer that had been in place for 20 years! Pretty easy to install by an average DIYer. Took about one and half hours to remove the old shower and fit the new one including drilling new holes for bracket and filling in old holes etc. Shower is very easy to use with a strong stream and steady temperature. Has a safety temperature limiter as well. Recommended.

Good quality
An awful lot of high grade metal and machining time went into this product. A kilo and a half heavier than the mixer (non-thermostatic) it replaced, which is reflected in the price tag.The additional weight meant I felt the need to secure the mixer from the wall using it's detachable brass collar rather than just hang off the pipe tails, with no template to work from you are essentially drilling blind.Be aware unlike "normal" bar mixers, this has 15mm couplings not 22mm and the connection is made from the wall side to the mixer as opposed to having captured nuts on the mixer tails. It also came with two filter washers, but the way it is designed to connect to water pipes, means you cannot use them, they would be torn apart by the compression fitting/ olive.

Not very good quality
Worked well at the begining. Few months down the line it gets stuck at 1 o’clock when turning the handle so that you have to push it down so hard to turn the water on that you feel it might break.

Perfect replacement for the old valve.
Extremely well made product, equally as good as a much more expensive model, very easy to fit and really looks and works great.

Malfunctioned after nine months and informed warranty is void.
Be aware that this unit might work perfectly at first. I have supplied Zeffa Online with a photograph of the unit now detached. I explained it malfunctioned after nine months and we were unable to turn the water flow off. We had to turn off our water and call out a plumber to remove the unit. The seller says we should have kept the unit in place until ‘their engineer’ could visit with no guarantee how long this would have taken and that removing it, even though we’ve shown evidence we have it, has made the warranty void. It’s certainly unreasonable for them to expect us to continue with continual water loss and I question the value of their ‘warranty’ once the unit has been installed. Refund or replacement (which we would certainly not want) was refused.

Great valve
We had two bar valves from Bathstore, both of which seized up within 6 months. This one is really good and is still easy to turn a year after fitting
