Nice product. Slowly slowly Portronics is making its brand reputation UP and UP by launching good products. Keep it up. The product laser throw is good and doesnot require damn dark room. There is no lag in the software as of now. But the remote is of inferior quality. Dear portronics team, ki dly upgrade the overall quality of the remote and make the remote different from cheap projectors available online.

Great value projector with a few small flaws The Portronics Beem 470 is honestly a great value for money. Picture quality and brightness are really good for this price range, and the sound is decent too. It’s perfect for movies, shows, or casual use. However, the only issue I noticed is with the focus — if you make the center part sharp, the corners become a little blurry, and if you focus on the corners, the center goes slightly out of focus. It’s not a major problem but noticeable on detailed scenes. Also, after a few days of use, some dust started settling inside the projector on the inner lens, which causes tiny dots to appear on the screen. I wish it had a better dust-sealed design. Overall, for the price, it’s a solid product that delivers great value — just keep it in a clean room and you’ll be happy with it.

This is a fantastic product. Only issue i found is less volume. I connected external speaker of 10W, but still volume is nit satisfactory keeping volume at highest number. Picture quality is superb..Not much fan sound.

Need extreme dark place, can't use in the afternoon even in slightest bright space. Dust forms heavily. Surely needed a bluetooth speaker.

This review is about beam 470 only. Overall people complaining about netflix and ott apps or sluggish they need to understand that no projector below 15k support netflix. You can read in google as well as you need to install custom netflix app and all. Now coming to use case its perfect at dark room.. It gives better color and better quality than other projector at 9k range. Pros: 1080p resolution, has zoom and keystone adjustment, sound is good for a bedroom, its flexible so u can rotate for wall or ceilings or ground as per ur requirement and thats best as other projector doesnt give rotate feature Cons: manual adjustment is needed for full screen of wall, auto correction is not 100% accurate, sound is good for bedroom and not hall, sluggish with 4k video in youtube inbuilt app, as its not able to handle more data.. Solutions and why i recommend it.. Just buy a amazon firestick and a bluetooth speaker as firestick sound is not played in inbuilt speaker.. Problem solved now i can enjoy fast, 1080p 4k videos and great sound.. I would recommend people that if u want inbuilt app then dont buy low price projector as there ram is less. If u want to buy then buy a pair of firestick and bluetooth speaker.. Connect bluetooth speaker to firestick and not projector.. Just use it as projector and let firetv do the processing work and believe me its picture quality is best in this range with 4500 lumen and go for the bundle and u wont regret

Amazing product Amazing picture quality

Great value for money! Got it for 6k INR a year ago and no problems so far. I've seen people say it's quite laggy but doesn't seem to be the case for me. Netflix works fine but I mostly use moonlight to stream games from my steam deck to it. Only drawback is the audio quality. I've tried using the built in EQ to find a good balance but the built in speaker simply doesn't have enough low end, so I just use bluetooth. In all fairness, you can't really expect a lot considering the price it's being sold at.
