The build quality is decent, the chair is comfortable, and it folds up very compactly. If I had to change anything, the folding could actually be a bit tighter, it swings open a bit too easily. Once it’s on the ground it’s nice and stable though. I would also suggest getting some felt to put on the bottom just so it doesn’t slide or scratch. Overall very satisfied, I plan on getting a second one in another color.

Literary sitting in it right now and it is SO COMFY!!! The back cushion and the seat cushion are so soft, thick but not a hard thickness, just the right amount of cushioning. There is no way to adjust it into different heights, but honestly it doesn't need it, and well, as a whole we got to stop folding into ourselves like shrimps. Easier said than done of course. It's very well made, the wood feels sturdy and the hinges and screws are solid. Honestly, it is well worth the money! I love it! I honestly want to buy extras when I have guests over!

The angle feels just right for leaning back, however if you lean forward on the floor, there is no lower back support if that's what you're looking for. I'm personally unsure if this company is selling the legit version of the chair or if it's just another copy cat of Chinese made Japanese inspired floor chairs from the other several sellers who also sell this design at around the same price. I'm sure it's manufactured under one or two factories and is sold to these third party vendors who get it to us. So Quality control is sure to be spotty. I think I got lucky, mine only came in with a few manufacturing flaws, you may not be so lucky. If you do get a solid build, it feels to me to be able to last for years. There is no flex to the back, and when I fold it, it feels clean and no noise is made. The hinges feel rigid and tight when I put weight to the backrest. A solid hinge design. It also is designed to not let you lift the front of the chair even if you put all your weight onto the back support, leading to an even more solid feel. All around if you make it past the QC issues I think it's a very good value for the money if this holds up for years. (I've had mine for a couple of months now.) The padding is pretty firm. Which I hope leads to it lasting longer and not being flattened out too soon. I don't think it would be easy (if even possible) to replace the padding if it did though. Good chair, does the job.

Elegant and comfortable floor chairs. Useful for working or dining at our low coffee table. Great for extra seating for large family gatherings. Easy to fold and stash away.

Yes and yes. This was an amazing investment! I’ve had this for about a year now. Quality is 5/5. We bought this for when guests come over and aren’t used to sitting on the floor and to save apartment space. We lived in a studio apartment. My partner and I regular sit on the floor without support and are quite used to it. Living in the US, not everyone has the time to get accustomed to that, so we decided to invest in this chair. It’s foldable, sturdy, and seats regular sized people while saving their back and can continue to hangout with us on the floor. It’s a beautiful looking chair with the rounded edges, soft cushion, and foldable. I’d say, if you’re living in a tight space, enjoy company and currently are in the lifestyle of sitting on the floor, I recommend.

Oh my.. these floor chairs are scary delicate, retail stores will not dare sell this. I'm sorry. I'm a medium build men. Wouldn't recommend this for anyone over 130 lb.

Surprisingly comfy, guests always sit on this over the couch because it’s interesting to them. Looks great and compact, nice that it folds and doesn’t take up too much space when not in use.

It's very sturdy and easy to move and fold. The cushion is comfortable but is on the thin side so for extended sitting a cushion may be best. The chair does not really recline, it is mostly straight up and down so great for your posture but not lazing around
