Rock-Solid, Reliable, and Perfect for Daily Use
As a professional photographer, I rely heavily on my gear day in and day out, and the SIRUI AM-324 with the AM-40 Low Gravity Ball Head has quickly become my go-to tripod. What stands out first is the build quality—it’s lightweight but feels incredibly solid, with zero wobble even when fully extended. I shoot both stills and video, and this tripod handles everything from fast headshot sessions to detailed product photography without breaking a sweat.I love it. It’s sturdy, super easy to set up, and feels really solid even when fully extended.Honestly, it just works—no fuss, no issues. Exactly what I needed.

Very impressive, then there's the price
This is an impressive tripod, even without considering the price. For reference, I have an FLM CP38-L4II, a Sirui KX40 ballhead, and a cheaper budget aluminum Promaster tripod.Leg locks are very nice, minimal twist required to lock and unlock, similar to FLM. Grips on the leg locks are nicer than FLM (which doesn't have rubber grips). Leg angle toggles (blue anodized parts) are serviceable. Not quite as easy to use as FLM (which you push out from the back) but perfectly fine and work well.Stability is a noticable downgrade compared to the 38mm legs of the FLM CP38, but that's more down to physics and structural mechanics than anything Sirui can control.AM-40 ballhead is noticably better than the KX40 ballhead, also by Sirui. An upgrade I'll consider swapping to my CP38. Super smooth, super nice. This is why I bought this tripod.Overall, extremely happy with this tripod. The fact that it comes with a great ballhead, light and stable 4 section CF tripod, and high quality touch points, makes this a great deal. Then there's the price. Wow.

Compact Powerhouse
The Sirui AM-324 tripod with AM-40 low profile ball head is a rock-solid combo. Lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, it’s perfect for both studio and field work. The ball head is smooth, locks tight, and offers precise control without bulk. A premium setup that punches way above its weight. Highly recommended for serious shooters.

Good buy!
Honestly an incredible value for the money. Good quality, lightweight, handles a 20lb load with no shake. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Good value for small/moderate loads
I received what was clearly a returned item. The previous labels were not even removed and tape-back-up job was not great. However, the contents were in good shape except for one small ding, and I believe everything was there. The tripod was nice and solid, yet very light. I would give it five stars except that the leg extension locks are not quite as good as some other brands, so you have to be careful to really crank down to avoid having leg slip. I can get used to that for the amount of savings. Also, there is no o-ring seal, so dirt and water may enter the joint. The AM-40 ball head was small and had a small quick-connect plate. I would not trust it with the weight of my new 600mm lens, though it will probably be fine with most cameras without long lens.

Great tripod
This tripod is an excellent addition to my camera gear. Exactly as advertised and is robust and well made, the price was very affordable. Would definitely purchase again but I’m pretty sure I won’t be needing another tripod for a while.

Solid snd sturdy but little bit on the heavy side
Yes the quality is great. The locking and unlocking mechanism are very good. Very easy to fold and extend the legs. The adjustment for the lags are quick and simple. Just pull the metal tab to unlock the legs adjust the angle and just push the tab down and it’s secured and stable. Highly recommended for the price and performance.

what a difference!
I have been using a tripod for years and have loved it. it is an aluminum tripod made by zomei.... bought from amazon. It has been through a lot.... used in the ocean surf, mountain streams, trails and roads and fields. I used the monopod alone for countless hours. the "foot" of the monopod leg eventually came loose and would fall off once in a while, so I thought it was time to preemptively buy a replacement. I took advantage of prime day price.Wow..... this is a good example of not knowing what you might be missing. I was skeptical about the additional weight, but it is totally worth it.... the weight, price, size.....everything! this tripod is solid. For the extra stability and height the extra weight is forgiven immediately. I think it will take a little getting used to no center post, since that makes it so easy to adjust height, but also that substantially reduces stability, so probably a blessing in disguise. The spike feet, although oddly heavy, ad even more to stability. For long shots, with long lens, this is a HUGE deal. The spikes with added weight hung from hook make this tripod stable as a rock.anyway, the main purpose for this review is to encourage those thinking of upgrading from a midrange type tripod. It is definately something you will notice and appreciate...and honestly probably NEED. I know I did/do.some mention the bag.... I guess it is nice. I most likely won't ever use it after having removed the tripod from it and strapped it to my backpack. Seems a weird thing to even think about when it comes to a tripod. I'll probably store my old tripod in it.
