After contacting the manufacturer of the furniture, who were no help at all, in spite of the settee costing nearly £4,000, to find these replacements was wonderful.The settee had two broken casters which I removed with a little persuasion; the replacements went on like a dream. The service by John Tate was excellent and the product is great.Thank you so much

After years of use, one of the castors fractured on our sofa. The castors are of the Kenrick Shepherd type. You struggle to find these anywhere these days. They can't be beaten for quality and price and we were reluctant to replace all the castors on the sofa of a less quality which we could have bought locally. Lucky we spotted the KS type on Amazon. Purchased a set of 4 castors with cups as we didn't know whether we'd need the cup as well.Castors came well within the allocated delivery time from supplier and well packaged. No instructions with the item, but it's pretty self explanatory looking at the item and reading the Questions and Answers section on Amazon linked to this item. Castors adifferent colour to the ones we have already, but you can't see them anyway under the sofa so not a problem.Unfortunately, we couldn't get the old castor out of the cup, even with brute force. Enlisted help from a friend who managed to get it out in no time, castor and cup as that was broken as well. Took him no more than 5 minutes with a pair of pliers after we'd been trying for near on an hour with no success !!!!Sofa now glides easily, hasn't for a some time now so the old castor must have been fractured for a while and finally could take no more weight or movement. Put the remaining 3 casters in a safe place as may need them in the future.

This product was just what we wanted. They are perfect. We used them for a chair, They couldn't be better.Arrived on time and were exactly as described by the seller. Would certainly use this firm again.

A very good product exactley as discribed used one to replace a broken castor quick delivery from the supplier and good customer service. Would reccomend to others .

Exactly what I wanted. The castors were a direct replacement for the broken ones on the loung suite. Easy to fit.

as it says on the tin good delivery good price local retailers promised but not of enough profit for them i still believe from little apples come orchards having being in business for over 36 yrs till my stroke thats how i survived inc 3 recessions too good luck

I rarely see these in the shops but they are often fitted to furniture you buy. They are not great, being prone for the socket to break at the rim - sometimes even the ball fractures - but it's obviously easier to replace one or two with the same type than change all of them.
