As described. Followed the size guide and it fits perfectly on my Springer Spaniel. Product seems of very high quality. It covers her chest to cool the lungs and heart which is exactly what you want. My dog loves to run around fields and through brush and under hedges etc and I learned that coats with velcro fasteners or anything bulky or loose don't last two minutes. So I wanted something that fits close to her body and under a harness and this is exactly that. This closes with a zipper. It is lightweight and very easy to put on and off. I have yet to test it in the field so will update when I do.

This vest has been an absolute life saver this summer. My working Cocker Spaniel came with me to France and I was very concerned about how she would deal with the heat (33 degrees). I decided to invest in this, whilst it’s not cheap I can’t sing it’s praises enough. It fit her perfectly (I looked at a lot of reviews and from what I can see those who say it’s doesnt fit generally havenover weight Dogs) this is made for sporting dogs and I can honestly say it was perfect on her.Bonnie was perfectly comfortable wearing it, and it didn’t inhibit any movement or restrict her in any way. It stayed wet for a long time and I saw a noticeable differenxe in her behaviour and comfort when running around.

I didn't think this would work very well but decided to give it a go, glad to say i was wrong, this kept my pooch nice and cool during the summer, one very happy (and cool) border terrier. A must for the summer season. Excellent quality, only problem is the zip starts to unzip after running, otherwise very pleased.

Absolutely brilliant product. Kept my Border Collie much cooler during the summer. He's 22kg and has a 30" chest. I bought the medium and it fits perfect. He used it if he went out in the garden in the afternoons and on his walks in the evenings. If I put my hand under the vest you could feel the difference in temperature from his hips that weren't covered compared to his back that was protected by the vest. When out on walks I took an extra bottle of water with me to keep it wet as does dry out after about an hour or so but by pouring some more water onto the chest panel it soon cools again. I've put it in the washing machine and its come out fine. I have many Ruffwear products and find they are good quality.

Really does work at keeping my dog cool. Just wet with cold water - it will bring the temperature down within a few minutes. It stays wet for at least an hour, then just needs re-wetting. Is easy to put on, is cut to a shape, and light enough, to wear whilst swimming so no need to remove - just leave on. He wears it on his walks and in the garden as he’s not bright enough to sit in the shade😆. In this hot summer weather, it has been a godsend. Might seem a little expensive but worth it.

Bought this just as the heat wave started for our holiday and because it was a close fit, it kept her cool and kept her calm. Bright colour too. When it dried off, just re-soaked as per instructions. Expensive but worth going that bit extra, good quality product and would recommend for hot running hounds. Used when travelling i.e. in a car especially for more than an hour. Delivered in good time.

This product seemed to be perfect. Lightweight. Reasonably easy to put on the dog. And wet in the right place. However, I have short legged, rare breed dogs and first time out in a dog field it started to deteriorate and two holes appeared. Some of the grey material is also fraying. The material is poor quality. My girl struggles with her breathing when it’s hot as she has an issue with her upper palate. This definitely helped. But it’s not going to last. 😡😡😡

Well, we got to test this on a short break in the UK where the temperature were consistently 25-30 degrees Celsius for four whole days. It bunches at the shoulders for our dogA bit awkward to put on, really need two people to help get it zipped up. The cover for the zip head is a hindrance and superfluous.Shows the dirtWhen it comes to measuring, our dog was 2-3cms within the upper limit. However, small did not fit her and I had to return and replace with a medium. Worth noting that the car seat belt harness fits comfortably on top, so I imagine a standard walking harness would do likewise.I would recommend this product, it's a better option than a damp towel if you're going far.

En mi experiencia viviendo en un sitio con temperaturas altísimas, no me funcionó, mi perro odiaba el chaleco y yo odiaba tener que lavarlo a cada rato por que quedaba apestoso después de cada uso. Si tienes un perro que va a estar expuesto a altas temperaturas lo que necesita es un lugar con sombra. Ellos mismo se auto regulan. Yo compré un techo para mi pick up y con eso la armo. Lo demás ya dejo que ellos hagan lo suyo. No lo volvería a comprar.

Wer hohe Qualität, eine einfache, fixe Handhabung sucht und etwas was zu 100% funktioniert, ist bei Ruffwear richtig aufgehoben.Ich habe zwei franz.Bullys und natürlich wie alle kurzatmige Hunde leiden sie sehr bei der Hitze.Deshalb war ich schon immer ein Fan von Kühlwesten für Hunde.Denn es gibt einfach Situation im Sommer wo man die Hunde nicht immer Zuhause lassen kann!Von super günstig bis teuer findet man Kühlwesten mit einer Art Perlenfüllung, die sich vollsaugen, über Gel's die kühlen.Prinzip aller ist einfach, ab ins Wasser damit eintauchen, länger drin lassen, ausringen, fertig.Warum Ruffwear?Ich habe echt alle Westen durch und die von Ruffwear ist mein Sieger, da sie;1. ultra leicht und dünn ist.2. man sie nur kurz nass machen muss, ausringen und schon einsatzbereit ist.3. Sie keine Perlen, Gel's beinhaltet wo der Hund mit viel Pech aufreißen, Die aufplatzen können oder bei schlechter Verarbeitung herausfallen.4. Super leichtes anziehen dank seitlichem Reißverschluss, eine sehr gute Passform hat.5. Sie hält was sie verspricht, kühlt angenehm über Stunden, trocknet fix wieder undlach, meine Hunde sie richtig gerne tragen.Dafür 5.Sterne von uns Drei und ein Danke an Ruffwear-man merkt ihr liebt Hunde.

El chaleco cumple su funcion completamente; recomiendo tener un producto de este tipo si tienen que sacar a su mascota, perr@, perrijo, etc, por la tardes. Le doy 4 estrellas por la relacion precio-calidad, creo que pude haber encontrado un articulo similar a mejor precio que cumpliera con la misma tarea y material similar.
