I am using this as a permanent install at our part time vacation cabin.After testing this cable (which works perfectly), I laid out a path and performed a time-consuming permanent installation at our cabin. The 150' length worked great, with very little excess coiled in an access area by the router.The cable goes outside to a spot where we are easily able to plug in the V2 Dish and have internet a shortish time later. It's nice having the clean permanent install and just plugging in the router and dish on the pole.When I have the dish elsewhere, we use the included protective cable end caps to ensure no damage is done to them.The cable has been working great and I see no real differences between this Klutchtech cable and the original Starlink cable. I am very happy with this cable so far, and the ease of getting online.

PROS: totally compatible replacement for the original Starlink cable; cable is sleeved and end caps are angled and rubberized to protect against weather; signal strength seems just as strong as with the original, 75' cable; very sturdy, high quality cableCONS: this is an expensive cable, but to me the ability to have so many more placement options makes it worth the spend

Item did not work as promise, router did not connect to satellite using this cable.

I use my star link when camping. Sometimes I wish I had more than the 75 feet that the star link cable that came with my star link. This cable doubles the length and provides versatility when I am camping somewhere with a lot of trees. This way I can get the star link further away from the camper when necessary. It makes a solid connection with my original equipment. I haven’t been camping with it yet but I’m assuming the extra length will probably slow the connection. But if I really need that length to get a good connection I’d rather have slower than none at all.
