Great Book
This is an insightful and detailed book with outstanding photography. George has done a masterful job helping people realize how much food is available growing right around us. I have worked with George on numerous occasions and have learned so much from him. Now I can use this excellent book as a reference when my memory is a fuzzy. And, the best thing for me is that this book is all about what’s available in central Ky but is readily applicable to other regions as well. Thank you George!

What an amazing and unique resource for wild edibles!
What an amazing resource for wild edibles found in Kentucky and the southeast Region. In “Foraging Kentucky” George covers some common (chickweed, chicken of the woods, wild lettuce) and less common (wild hyacinth, wild bergamot, indigo milk caps) species of wild edibles and illustrates the book with tons of gorgeous photographs. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more beautiful foraging guide up until now. Well done! I’m looking forward to attending his workshops one day.
