Needs more headroom
Maybe I have a large skull but my head doesn’t fit in the hood. Would be nice if the next version had an adjustable poncho hood. Otherwise it’s great. This and a thermal blanket is all the shelter you’ll need most days.

It would be perfect if not for one major issue
I wanted a poncho, tarp, hammock all-in-one for day hikes and excursions and such. This looked like it fit the bill, and it technically does. Except that it's a TERRIBLE poncho. The tie strings are hard to use, don't close the poncho's front well, and cause bunching. This basically lets in huge amounts of water and wind. Also, there are these pull ropes which bunch up the ends for hammock-mode...which are massive tripping hazards and as they dangle off the bottom of the poncho they cannot be gathered up or tied or held or anything. So yeah, this guy is completely unusable as a poncho. That said, I can't bring myself to 1-star this item. As a hammock, it's pretty solid. I like that's it's wind-proof as that's fantastic for cool/cold weather. I love that it came with FREE hammock straps AND high-quality carabiners. Seriously, the straps and clasps that come with it are probably worth $20 on their own. Very generous!I like it as a tarp as well. It's tough and it's freaking huge. I could quick-pitch this as a sun or rain shield and fit the whole family underneath. I haven't actually used it for a picnic yet, but I'm sure it'll be good at keeping us out of damp grass and such.I'm sad it's not a good poncho, but I'll still probably carry it since I wear water-proof outerwear on hikes anyway and I'd love to have all the other roles it fills. In conclusion: think carefully about how you're going to use this. It could be great, it could be terrible. Hence 3-stars.

Versatile and great for hikers!
We are an outdoorsy family who like to camp and hike a lot. This 4 in 1 camping hammock is perfect for doing both of those activities. It is very lightweight and folds up neatly inside its built in storage pouch. Once it’s folded up, it’s small enough to fit inside a backpack and not take up very much room at all (which is great for hikers who like to set up camp.) I love that it doubles as a raincoat/tent/blanket as well. As a blanket, it is definitely big enough to cover 2 people (and a child if you turn it sideways.) As a raincoat, it is big enough to protect anyone! My husband is almost 6’ tall and it fit him with plenty of extra room. An added bonus is that the storage pouch doubles as a hood to cover your head from rainfall. As for using it as a hammock- we LOVE it! You can easily fit 2 adults and possibly a small child comfortably, which is amazing! The ropes to hang it are very sturdy and the fabric is durable enough to hold the weight. It is very comfortable! The ONLY negative thing I have to say about this product is that it didn’t come with any directions. If anyone is new to camping/outdoor gear- they may need some guidance figuring out how to get use out of the different features.

this might be the real deal.
this might be the real deal. weight 1lb 3.3oz (14.5oz without the included rope) test hang in the back yard, stitching appears and sounds solid, theres very little stretch when climbing in. one side has the plastic coating that makes it water proof, so its not very breathable but thats the trade off. only concern I might have is the fabric stretching over time and compromising the water proof coating.Update: I have used this on 2 backpacking trips, each 4 days long, in the rain. So far it's holding up just fine. Don't think you can wear this as a rain poncho and then sleep on it as a hammock. The non coated side absorbs water so it will become damp. It's still possible but it's going to cause you problems. The big goofy loops on the corners exaggerate this issue. I'm going to cut them off at the grommet. If you're backpacking with this like I am use your tarp as a rain poncho instead. Still 5 star product imo!Update 2: It's a super great hammock. Please come back in stock. I used mine a lot. It's getting worn out.

Not bad for the price
Not the best hammock in the world but very portable, light and convient. I use this alot when I am outdoors. I own several other name brand hammocks but this is my go to hammock, poncho, footprint etc.

Return & Replacement processed immediately
I'll add a review of the product later after use, but...The price and multi-purpose use for the extremely low weight was something I was searching for many months.Grams are ounces, ounces are pounds, and pounds are pain!Note that the extra size of this hammock allows you to pull it over the top to keep out mosquitoes and rain out.Use it just a few inches off the ground to have a "hammock-less" tent protection from heavy rain and bugs.Someone in the deliver process cut through the box and caused a 1in. cut in the hood.A quick note to Amazon, a drop off at UPS, no charge to ship back and a new one around in 2 days.BAM! That's service!

great price for useful poncho
There are a lot of of poncho/tarp combinations available and they are pretty useful. This one is quite sturdy and works for that purpose. What it adds is the ability to use it as a hammock, and it works quite well for that as well. The way you hang it is a little unusual for a hammock, since it just has one long continuous loop of rope going through each end. In a pinch, you can hang it directly like that, but you're probably better off also carrying a couple of carabiners and some webbing, both to be able to hang it from trees that are further apart, and to protect the trees. Note that this makes a hammock out of a waterproof material; that's an advantage when it's colder and windier, but less comfortable in warm weather.
