Letting the material stretch and settle into its natural shape makes all the difference. Once you do that, it holds air extremely well, and you’ll enjoy months of use before needing to touch the pump again. In daily use, it performs exactly as it should—stable, comfortable, and versatile for yoga, stretching, balance work, or general fitness. And in an unexpected bonus, it’s also passed the ultimate durability test in our house: occasional outdoor playtime. We’ll take it into the yard and gently kick or roll it around, and our Labradoodle—who is very ball-crazed in the best way—loves nudging and herding it around for exercise. Bought this to replace my last birth-ball, and I'm glad I got this one. I've had 6 pregnancies, so I know a decent birth ball vs junk. This one I've had for a few months now, and it's holding up really well. Pros: Easy to inflate, holds air really well, feels thicker-walled than many I've tried in the past at a similar price point, and DOES NOT STINK with that plastic-y/chemical odor. Cons: Like all gym balls, it can feel clammy to the touch and gets sweaty. But, that's not something you're going to be able to avoid without a cover. It does have a more spongy vs smoother surface texture, which is a pro for me (I think that's more comfortable to sit on when you're in labor especially) but if you're wanting a glass smooth ball, this isin't that kind. If I this one goes the way of the rest of them after my kids get a hold of it post new sibling birth, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with the exact same ball. Good product, good value for your money.

This pregnancy ball has been such a great buy! It’s super sturdy and has just the right amount of bounce. I originally got it for pregnancy stretches and postpartum recovery, but it’s turned into a daily must-have. Good value for the money. Purchased to work out at home based on a stretch class I take for exercise. Was easy to inflate. I followed the instructions and didn’t inflate all the way the first 24 hours and it works perfectly. Very good quality and was perfectly round once fully inflated. Has kept air for weeks without having to re-inflate.

Didn’t really use it but when did was easy to blow up and was perfect size for me.

I got this core balance exercise ball to help increase my core strength after spinal fusion surgery. I was nervous at first that it came squished and had to be inflated. I was also nervous about the hand pump that I would have to use to actually inflate it. BUT - that said, It came with a tape measure type strip to put around the ball as you inflate it so that you actually know when you are at the correct amount of pressure and have reached the correct diameter. It is of a thicker reinforced rubber to guard against accidental blow outs. The hand pump was actually easy to use, and in a very short amount of time I had the ball fully inflated. There was no initial odor from the rubber, so that is a big plus too. I have used this several times when I find my back starting to ache from either doing too much, or sitting too long, etc., and it has always allowed the gentle movement needed to make everything feel better.
