I got this seat extender for my two golden retrievers and I can't begin to tell you how nice it is. It was easy to install and fit perfectly on top of the rear seat of my 2022 Ford Edge. It is well built and as advertised. It comes with a storage bag so that it can be put away neatly when not in use. I like that the the floor section is solid and that it does not sag when the dogs are on top of it and best yet it is comfortable for them to lay on. I highly recommend this back seat extender for those who have dogs they care about!

I got this to protect the seats and contain my dogs in my new 24 telluride. I chose this one because it can span bucket seats. It is easy to install and remove and put back into its storage bag. It seems well made. My dogs haven’t used it yet but I laid on it and it seemed sturdy. I think it should work perfectly for my pets and keep them from scratching the seats and give them a comfy place to lay.

Just purchased a new vehicle with captain's seats in the second row which have a 12" gap between them. This Rouwinne product has proved outstanding in bridging the gap between the seats as well as creating a safe and secure environment from front to back. It is easy to install, looks great and allows our dog the freedom to move about and peer through to the front seats. Only wish is we had discovered it on our prior vehicle!

I deducted a star because it STUNK when I first opened it. Not really like chemicals, but like… a wet buffalo on a hot and humid day?? I don’t know, I’m not sure how to describe it exactly. I almost stuck it back in the box and returned it, but ended up giving it a chance by letting it sit open in my garage overnight. The next day, I barely smelled it anymore, so set it up in the back of my 2023 Mazda CX-5 (compact SUV). It was a very tight fit, especially when I pushed the driver and passenger seats all the way back (my husband is 6’4” and needs all the leg room he can get), but it JUST fit (note that my specific vehicle already has tight leg space in the backseat, compared to other similar compact SUVs, so this will probably fit just fine in your car). I added my own dog bed (also purchased from Amazon) and blanket for my 16-pound dog, and she seemed comfortable!I got this because we were taking our first road trip with our pup, and she’s used to sitting on the passenger’s lap in the front seat. But her little paws dig into our arms, thighs, and abdomen because she likes to move around and look out the window, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle that for a 3-hour car ride. She has a tendency to slide around and fall forward off the seat, though, which upsets me so much the few times I can picture it happening. So I wanted to make sure this wouldn’t happen to her in the backseat… and it didn’t! It’s pricey, in my opinion, but I’m glad I got it to keep my dog safe and comfortable. Don’t let the initial terrible smell deter you - just open it all the way up and let it sit in your garage or outside on your deck or something overnight.

It's way good. As an upholsterer...I've modified it though. My cars bolsters curve forward and I had to clip the corners of the hard shell. (Knew I would). And then I added more padding for the dogs. But also. Knew I would. It came with 1/4" pad, but I spoil my dogs. This fits better, and holds shape compared to the $30 dollar ones. This is better.

It fits in my Jeep Wrangler great and looks great too! Well done!

This product is made well and fits my Rav4 perfectly. I have 3 active dos, all in the weight range of 10 to 17 pounds and they are very comfortable and supported on my back seat now. This product was easy to install and lives up to it's promises. Thank you for producing such a useful product.

Super happy this was recommended by a friend for our dog. He didn’t like riding in the car much before because he was always “surfing” and couldn’t relax. This has changed him so much. He feels safer and more secure and it holds him perfectly. He leans up behind the drivers seat now and lays down which is a miracle. He even has been comfortable enough to sniff out the window. Two paws up. I’m hoping he gets more and more used to it and ultimately falls to sleep during trips. I added a memory foam dog bed and it is awesome. Thank you!
