Incubator-Incubators for Hatching Eggs - 8 egg incubator with automatic egg turning, ideal for chicken quail

I bought this last minute for 5 peacock eggs. 5 out of 5 eggs hatched and that says a lot as this has been a terrible year for hatching. I honestly just set it up and didn't change anything. The bottle and bottle cap system I couldn't get to work properly but I just made sure there was water in both trays and I didn't mess with the settings!

This is a very poor product from china. I could not get this product to work.

So far I hatched out 4 duck eggs, but the eggs were so big that the turner mechanism would not turn them, I had to do it manually several times a day, Once the ducks hatched, they could only be in there 3 days before it was time to move them to the brooder box. Now I have 5 small eggs in there and it works well. I wanted to do some Goose eggs but i had to purchase a different type of box (larger).All in all, this unit works well.

Perfect for a secondary incubator in case if you need to lend it out or even incubate extra eggs! however, not recommended for beginners because it lacks an automatic off feature for the egg turning for lockdown and there’s no hygrometer so you need to put in your own. This unit only measures heat in celsius but it does hold up heat pretty well with the insulator box. only concern is that i feel like it doesn’t get a good base to lid seal and could potentially be knocked slightly open letting all the heat escape! The spacing on the egg turner is perfect for fatter chicken eggs or turkey/duck eggs so i wouldn’t recommend it for bantam eggs or quail eggs. Good incubator for the price but it’s obviously no brinsea or nurture right 360.update - I have been using this as a incubator for turkey eggs and this unit has been working well despite it being made cheaply. the insulator box keeps the temperature and humidity in. this unit is meant for dry incubation only because from my experience if you add water it’s just too much humidity (90%). I do not trust this as a hatcher because it lacks any big vent hole to let oxygen in the small one it comes with is enough for the incubating stage but i feel as if it doesn’t get enough oxygen for lockdown and the cable for the egg turner could have a chick wrapped around it. Honestly a really solid unit for the price but again I just can’t trust it for hatch.

It will not hold temp at all. It will fluctuate between several degrees throughout the day. One side of the incubator will be 2 degrees cooler/ warmer than the other side. Fan doesn’t circulate and started to break down within 30 days. There is no humidity control at all so expect that to be all over the place too. If you like incubators that don’t hatch eggs this is the one for you!

On our first batch of ducklings 6 out of 6 survived and hatched beautifully. It was so easy because it auto turns and the humidity was already set. Now we are on our second batch (this time with 8) and crossing our fingers for the same result. Truly a great purchase.
