I'm really enjoying this light bulb. I'm able to read my laptop easier. The light is pleasant and just right. Plus it's energy efficient. I definitely recommend and will continue to purchase more BCL LED light bulbs as replacements for incandescent bulbs for my apartment. These bulbs are great!

I, also, was given one of these lightbulbs directly from this seller to evaluate. So I won't repeat what they've said, but rather offer my additional observations.I've been impressed with LED lightbulbs since I first found out about them. Incandescent and even fluorescent lightbulbs are SO inefficient, compared to LED lightbulbs.This lightbulb emits plenty of nice, white light. It turns on immediately, does not require any "warm-up" time ... and turns off immediately ... it's either "ON" or "OFF."I hate the price of LED lightbulbs, but am completely convinced that if I actually calculated the cost of ONE LED bulb, as compared to SEVERAL incandescent or fluorescent lightbulbs, the LED's would be cheaper.I live in a climate with hot summers which necessitate the use of air conditioning in the summer. My favorite thing about these lightbulbs is that put out plenty of light ... using a small fraction of the electricity that incandescents and fluorescents use ... AND they DON'T put out HEAT!This lightbulb is overall slightly smaller than a 60 watt incandescent lightbulb. The "light" part of this light is slightly smaller ... the "base" part of this bulb is the "standard" size of lightbulbs used in the United States, and fits in a "standard" light bulb socket. According to the label on the box, this bulb uses only 5 watts of power in a standard 110 volt 50 hz lighting fixture. The luminous Flux is 300 Lm. The light emitted is: "Warm White."I put this light bulb into one socket in the 6-lightbulb dining room lamp over the kitchen table. Within 45 seconds (yep, I timed it!) each of the five 60 watt incandescent lightbulbs were too hot to touch ... and were emitting plenty of heat. This LED lightbulb was cool ... cool ... cool to the touch. It was definitely no problem touching this lightbulb ... it actually continued to feel "cool" from the air conditioning, rather than HOT from emitting heat along with light.I stopped buying incandescent lightbulbs several years ago, and have instead been buying fluorescent lightbulbs. After a couple of my friends' research, as well as my research and personal experiences with LED lightbulbs, I won't be buying any more incandescents or fluorescents at all. I'll definitely buy LED lightbulbs. They are more expensive initially, but certainly LESS expensive over the years of their life.

This LED bulb was recently given to me as a sample to test. It is aesthetically pleasing and looks like a regular incandescent bulb so it looks very nice inside of a lamp. It is very well constructed and the material of the bulb is break-proof and didn't break when I accidentally dropped it while trying to screw it in. With both incandescent and fluorescent bulbs, they contain gases that could be harmful when broken, which is why LED bulbs is the ideal light because it does not contain hazardous materials. The light comes on and off without delay, and the bulb outputs a very good amount of warm white light. A key advantage of this LED bulb is the 50,000 + hours lifespan so this is going to last a long, long time. It also uses less energy than incandescent bulbs, which will save me money on my monthly energy bill and I don't have to sacrifice the amount of light I get. So all in all, this LED bulb by Best Choice Light gets a thumps up from me for its slick design, quality, usability, lighting strength, long-lasting, and money-saving features.

After trying it at the house for a few weeks, I feel comfortable offering an unbiased review.I had never put much thoughts into the selection of a light bulb for our daily use. Usually the only time it gets my attention is when a bulb burns out, or worse, when we can not locate a replacement bulb in the pantry! It seems to happen more often than I'd like for it to. Therefore, the first feature that I appreciate very much in this light bulb is its long life. I can think of much better use of my time than hunting for a replacement bulb or having to go shopping for one.I also like its soft white light very much. In addition to being functionally bright, it also creates a very inviting and cozy lighting in my daughter's room.Now that I have come to appreciate the benefits of LED light bulbs, we will be replacing the rest of the house with these bulbs going forward!

I am familiar with LED lights since my friend gave me one a few years ago.The light bulb from Best Choice Light is a high quality product. LED lights typically last far longer than standard light bulbs so workmanship is important. I love the warm white glow this light gives off. These days most places are using those cork screw looking energy saver lights and while they certainly are eco-friendly and energy efficient, the light they give off is not very appealing. In addition, this light bulb is much more shock resistant than a regular bulb. Since there is no filament you don't have to treat it like a new born baby when handling it. It makes more sense to me to order a high quality bulb like this from Amazon that will last for a couple of years rather than having to remember to pick up bulbs at the store that don't last nearly as long, break easily and guzzle energy. I highly recommend you try a bulb from this supplier. I was provided a sample of the BCL 5W light bulb for test and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.
