Lovely smell and long lasting
Love the smell, I’ve read how others say they burn out quickly I think they need to come with instructions for those who are new to incense. Light the cone then blow it out to get the full impact don’t let it burn up, if you use them correctly they last for ages and snell beautiful

Too Perfumey But Still Excellent Value
The Stamford Sandalwood Incense Cones are not quite what I expected. Firstly, due to my own ignorance, I thought they would be suitable for a backflow incense burner (pictured) however they are not naturally designed for that purpose (as per a suggestion online if you drill a hole a couple of centimeters long into the bottom they will, however, work as intended on a backflow incense burner).Secondly, and more importantly, these cones have a very distinctly perfumey smell. This takes away from the smell of the sandalwood, which is only faintly recognisable as a result, and so is a bit of a letdown for me as sandalwood is my favourite incense scent. That being said, even with these flaws, I still find some enjoyment in the desired effect. They are also excellent value for money considering the average cost of normal incense cones, not to mention how much the backflow variety would normally cost.

Great product, let down by oversized and unnecessary packaging
These incense cones have a wonderful scent, but the product is is significantly let down by its packaging. It looks fine, but the box is far too big. Around three times larger than it needs to be. Also, inside the box, the cones are contained in a completely unnecessary plastic bag. Incense has been manufactured for literally thousands of years, so it really does not need to be packaged in plastic. Nag Champa manage to distribute their cones in boxes a fraction of the size of Stamford's and without plastic bags inside, so Stamford could do it too. The plastic bag, also oversized, is single use, cannot be reused or recycled, so it goes into landfill. As everybody knows, plastic is seriously damaging our shared environment and, it doesn't take a marketing genius to know this. I would like to believe most users of incense would care about this fact. But Stamford do not seem to, at all. Why? Will I buy Stamford again, or go for someone like Nag Champa, who put their product in small, recyclable cardboard boxes? Bit obvious really.

Beautiful Incense, but packs very squashed.
Great incense. Dont buy if you plan to sell them though. I bought sandalwood and jasmine scents- jasmine arrived in the dosplay box and no damage. The sandalwood ones were sent in 2 packs woth no protection and 9 of the 12 boxes were damaged in some way, 5 of them too squashed to display on my small shop shelves (I’m stocking up for when lockdown is over). Luckily I also do sets where I take out 1 or 2 cones and sell them in pamper kits so I can still make something from them. Great incense though, and beautiful scent. I recommend them for if you dont care about the packaging being banged up.

great product
great product, please keep the flame lit for 10-15 for it to work wellI have taken 1 star off, because there's no need for so many packaging. Came with12 individual boxes aswell as inner plastic bages, i would have been happy if they had all been packed in just in one recycling box/container

Great smell, nice long burn.
Love the smell, fills the house with a lovely aroma. Some cones are cut a little rough/uneven, but nothing bad enough it cannot stand upright. (Ive gone though about 3 boxes of 15.....of the 45...maybe 5 were uneven).I have given this 4 stars as a fair few stopped burning after 1/4 of the way. I'd have to re-light it. Not a deal breaker though.Overall though...for the price?... Its well worth it. Recommended.

Excellent value and a great aroma
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It's hard to believe you get all these cones for the price. Each box contains a rudimentary but quite adequate metal stand for the cones to sit on to protect your surfaces. They burn quite intensely, so you get a very quick effect--great if you have pets and are expecting visitors soon! Of course, this means they don't last long; but at this price, that's not an issue. Naturally, they give off a lovely aroma.

Fantastistic
I always buy my incense cones from Stanford. The quality could not be better. The scent is heavenly. The price is excellent and delivery is swift. I burn them everywhere but particularly by the front door so the residual fragrance is welcoming for anyone coming in.
