It exactly fits, lasts a long time between charges, was reasonably priced & got here in a hurry.

Charge LED's are non-functional, poorly made plastic housing, short battery life.

The product works as described. The packaging of each battery was nice in some sort of static free plastic then some type of static free metallic bubble wrap. I bought two batteries for my Dell D830 and fully charged and discharged each 3 times as advised on many websites. Appears to hold a charge of up to 5 hours pretty steady, of course I multi-task and run many programs and plug in many USB devices which also drain power and reduce the overall time. But so far so good. One problem at first was the battery did not charge. I thought it was my laptop or the battery. In short, I had a Dell charger but not the "proper charger." My laptop requires a 90watt charger(which has long been dead). I was using my wife's 65 watt charger from her Dell laptop and also tried a universal laptop charger at 89 watts, no luck. I've tried all the different tips and tricks online to bypass the smart chips in the battery. Ended up buying a used 90 watt Dell charger on Craigslist and now works like a charm. Bottom line is, use the proper charger because I thought I may have received bad batteries.

I had high hopes for this battery but have been quite let down. Installation was a breeze and it fits perfectly. The problem is I've had it for about 3 weeks or so now and currently my laptop is plugged in, and has been for at least a week, and my battery status says it is at "68% and charging". Uh, what? How this is not 100% charged is beyond me. I am lucky in that I don't take my laptop many places so, for me, this is only a minor inconvenience but it could be more frustrating for someone else. Since Dell no longer makes these batteries there isn't much of an option but when it comes time to replace this one I will be hitting up my local battery store for a better quality one. For the price, this battery is acceptable.

There are so many of these batteries out there with crappy cells inside. They don't give you the run time you need or they don't have a reasonable usage lifespan. This was one of the few that had 'ok' reviews so I went with it. About a year later I am still pleased.Pros:- Inexpensive- Pretty good runtime compares to the old original Dell battery- A year later, it still works and had reasonable runtimeNegatives:- Fitment is not quite 100%.. more like 99%. Good enough.- The Battery check button underneath is harder to press and register than on a Dell battery. But it works, and I almost nevr use it so it's a non-issue.Verdict:Recommended!

This battery fit into the laptop as if it came from the factory. I let it charge overnight then unplugged the charger and turn on the laptop. The laptop, with no activity other than some background updates going on over the internet, lasted over four hours. I expect it to last 3-4 hours under normal use. The battery it replaced could not make it for one-half hour. This is a very satisfactory product.

The battery looks very similar to the Dell battery, however the fit was extremely tight. I'm not sure I'll be able to get it out again, but hopefully it will last a while. Have had it for several weeks now and the charge is holding steady at 98%. I haven't tried running the laptop on battery power yet.

I bought this battery for my Latitude D30 because my original Dell battery was no longer charging. I did what the instructions told me but this battery is also not charging. I am not sure if it is the battery, the computer in general or maybe my charger is messed up. Who knows? It fit well and was the exact same color which is a plus. Based off the previous reviews, it seems like those with a D20 were pleased with the product. I would say, you never know until you try! You can always return it if necessary but if it works, you save yourself a pretty penny!
