Oddly, while many fishermen use these neoprene gas bottle covers very few campers seem to. If you are using a small camp stove (my favourite is the Bulin T4 available on Amazon) in cold weather you will be aware that gas flow, particularly on butane only canisters, can fall away quickly and cause a weak flame. The butane/propane mix canisters help somewhat, but still may need the canister inverted to get a better burn. This little neoprene cover is extremely effective in keeping out the cold. I have used my stove in freezing and slightly below temperatures and the gas flow has remained strong. The flame is further enhanced if your stove also has a heat pipe strength . There is a neat little pocket at the side to hold a lighter or a piezo igniter . One minor niggle. There is a drawstring and toggle at the top of the bag to keep the tank snug. I found screwing the gas tank to the stove the drawstring can easily get tangled into the action. I would recommend slipping the tank slightly out of the bag before attaching your stove. Great little item. Good value too. Don't know why more campers don't use them.

Bought for holding and protecting camping gas stove canisters - no more rattling round in your pack with this. Comfortably holds 2 c250 sized cans with drawstring closure keeping them in place. Small side pocket for lighter. Looks well made of decent material so should endure regular use.

First impressions are the finish is poor and it feels pretty thin. Hopefully when I get the chance to use it, it will do the job?
