I had the Govee 12pc lights on my bike before. They failed after a years use. The contoller box went bad on them. The contoller box on this set is much smaller to fit under the seat of the motorcycle. So that should help. Having the push button up on the handle bars should also help instead of having it under the seat like my old set. Also having the app as a controller to turn them off and on and with the color selection is a nice bonus feature. Didn't have any issues with installation. For those of you that are having problems with the stickyness of the pads try using Zip Strips to hold everything in place. It's what I've done every time I have had to install these types of lights on my bike and on friends bikes. This way there is no chance of them coming off and getting tied up in your wheels or chain/drivetrain. They aren't as bright as my Govee lights but they will definitely work for the summer. It seems like I have to replace these things once a year every time. But as cheap as they are I don't have a problem spending a couple of Jackson's on them to keep that nice color scheme on my bike. Overall I'll give it 5 stars just for the fact that they were great for the price and the ease of installation. I would definitely recommend these if your just starting out with light kits for your bike/whatever.

These lights are perfect for my Ninja 400. The strips are flexible and have good adhesive on them. The app works well and the on/off switch makes them easy to turn on and off. You can save custom colors to match your bike and it has a lot of flashing modes. One of my favorite mods on my bike!

I have to recant my initial review of this product. Although initially, I thought they were super bright and easy to install I had them for a week installed before they stopped working altogether with no warning. After troubleshooting wires, although fine I have power to the little module thing but out of it. Guessing something inside that is wrong nonetheless, I would not recommend. Against my better judgement I decided to go cheap and hope for the best. I must say I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these lights. The app works great and the light’s themselves are more than bright enough for my taste. Installation was a cake walk as well. Highly recommended anyone wanting to dress up their bike but are on a budget.

This is literally plug and play. Just hook it up to your battery, no other wiring to be done. My suggestion though, before you start sticking these to your bike, lay the whole thing out and see what the assortment looks like because I just put it on the bike put six wires on one side and then started working on the other side assuming they were symmetrical and they were not. One side I had two short, two medium, two long, and like a knucklehead I assume the other side would be the same but the other side was two medium and four long. That's on me, and I was able to make it work but I figured the right and left would be the same so I had to get a little creative with placement on the second half. You can avoid this by doing what I initially suggested and lay the whole thing out and see what you have. Patience is not my strong point. So outside of that I will say that the app makes it really easy to use. I was planning on just running it green all the time since there's some green on the bike, but I ended up going with white because I'm not trying to have a light show while I'm driving down the road I'm trying to be visible to cars and white seems to be the most visible to me.

Works great, lights are bright and I haven’t had any issues with mud or water. Only complaint was for my application there was an excessive amount of wiring that became difficult to tuck.
