Works good for my stihl hs81t, just have to trim the air vent, but other than that works perfect

MY old Stihl HS81R had a Zama C1Q-S105 carb that ran poorly. This carb is difficult to find. I used this C1Q-S225 replacement.This required that I cut down the black plastic vent tube for the priming bulb. It interferred with the metal back plate for the air cleaner that bolts down the carb. The two nuts holding down the old carb were 8mm and they are surrounded by a plastic piece leaving very little room to get the 8mm socket on. I pressed down on the socket with a lot of force to get past the surrounding plastic and was successful in removing the nuts to get the old carb off. I used a hack saw to cut down the black plastic vent tube on the new carb, The new carb started right up and is running smoothly with no adjustments. Pay attention to the tiny hole in each of the two new gaskets to orient them to two tiny ports on the carb.

Worked for a while but now its puking fuel out of the carb and muffler.

Everything is good so far. Great price and came in a timely manner as promised.

Right out of the box, this carburetor appears to be of excellent quality. It is comparable to the OEM carburetor in terms of quality and fit. No complaints. Works well.

I liked it because it fit my weedeater perfect and I found nothing wrong with it
