This is a nice simple adapter for plugging American or Canadian plugs into UK sockets. As we buy more more goodies when traveling in the US, we tend to forget that we need to plug them in when we get home to the UK. This is a nice one to have if you do bring stuff back. Just of course make sure that your device works on 120 and 240 V. This is not a transformer it only adapts the plug.

Dangerous product. No warning that not for USA appliances.
It was not clear that the appliance was not a voltage reducer from 240v to 220. The adapter was USA socket but not suitable for USA 220 appliances. Result plugged in it blew up appliance.

I recently purchased the Lenink US to UK Plug Adapter and I'm very pleased with my purchase. The adapter is very simple to use and works perfectly to convert 2/3 pin plugs from USA, Mexico, and Canada to British plugs. It's also very safe, with a 13A fuse to provide extra protection. It's also very small and compact, so it's easy to take with you when travelling. I highly recommend this adapter to anyone who needs to convert their plugs to the UK.
