Our Man Made (Synthetic) Precious opal is made in Japan by Kyocera and many people say its beauty matches the beauty of natural precious opal. Kyocera opal (Kyoto Opal) is impregnated in a resin that makes the opal often much more durable than naturally occurring opal. Synthetic Precious Opal shows fire in different ways when viewed in different lighting and when viewed from different directions. If you have never seen Kyoto Opal in person you are in for a treat.
