This toaster is awesome! It's only a two-slice toaster, but it toasts per the settings beautifully. I have had toasters where you turn it to a setting and the toast is not toasted to the expectation you had.

I bought this toaster at Walmart because Consumer Reports rated it a best buy at Walmart's price.This monstrosity is a monument to the technological imperative: if you can you must. It's a toaster, not an iPhone.First, the thing beeps at you when you plug it in. Why? Don't I know that I just plugged it in?Second, the on-off switch blinks constantly when it's plugged in. Very annoying; you have to unplug the toaster to make it stop.Third, the interface menu is essentially a touch screen. But why? It makes for a "clean" look but not a good toaster.Fourth, the darkness settings are not continuously variable. Two bars of toasting is underdone, but three bars is nearly black.Fifth, toasting is extremely uneven. One side is always darker while the other is barely toasted. When I look inside the slots during toasting, I don't see the elements glowing like in my old toaster. I'm reduced to monitoring the toast manually, then flipping the bread to toast the other side.Sixth, it beeps at you when you unplug it to stop the blinking on-off button. Why? Stupid.Spend your money on another brand. Don't be taken in by fancy design.

I loved my purchase. Easy to use, fast, not noisy and has the perfect size.
