Beautiful globe but BEWARE language problem
A truly beautiful globe with a wonderful, luminous sheen and well-designed cartography. The 40cm size makes it easier to read the place names and you can see smaller countries that might not appear on the 34cm version. It looks stunning in the evening when illuminated and is a great addition to the room during the day.There is a problem on the Amazon website in that the product description does not indicate which language you are ordering. I ordered direct from Amazon and it arrived in German when I had assumed (since I had ordered from the UK website) that it would be in English.I contacted a couple of the third-party resellers and they replied saying that theirs were in German too. Amazon needs to resolve this somehow.

Not what it seems.
Beautiful globe BUT... I ordered on Amazon UK site and expected an English globe. It turns out to be the German version only so all place names are in German etc. No mention of this on the purchase details. It also came with a fitted German plug an no UK adapter. Very poorly packaged and not as described. Going back.
