I am an EOD Tech. This light is awesome as a helmet light. It does only one color of light so you don't have to toggle through different LEDs to get the one you want. One click is low intensity and the second click is higher intensity. Only thing I will knock it for is that it comes with two mounts but neither one is the low profile rail mount that you would want for a helmet (which is most likely what anyone would be buying this light for). So you have to buy that separate. Would have got five stars if it did.

The first one I got was great. The second one I purchased didn’t make it 1 minute out of the box...The light comes with many mounting options but there are 2 small plastic posts that clip into the mounts. One of those posts snapped right off. What a complete waste of money.

Princeton Tec makes reliable swag. This is good kit for clipping onto your molle rig , or just about anywhere else, since most fo the package is a bizarrely profuse assortment of alternative clips. In fact, if I had a complaint, it would be the seeming unnecessary waste in packaging so many clip attachments when the light probably only need one good clip with a swivel. It's a bendy neck thing, after all. So, really, the overindulge in the extra pieces you either have to store in some forgotten corner of a gear closet or toss them out.

So far works great. Helmet mount bracket did not fit over the thicker rim lining along the edge of the helmet. Used a face shield hole and hardware already in the helmet. Added small washer/spacers between the mount and helmet to prevent over stressing the plastic mount when tightening to helmet. Used Loctite Blue on the mount threads. Very secure and solid mount now. Easy twist off to remove the light. Low light level is perfect for reading and close tasks. High level is bright enough for navigation inside a dark residential type structure. I think the white/color combo light might be too complicated under stress in the field. Would be nice if light had a small lock-out switch for helmet storage in the trunk of the car.

Item was broken when it arrived, as such it didn’t work. The plastic clips that attach the light to the mount were sheared off. Had to be returned. FYI: It was a warehouse deal, so hopefully that helps someone make a decision.

Perfect helmet light for search and maneuvering, movable and the perfect amount of light for close work and search. Position allowed use with optics small risk of reflect but was not blinding. Did ruin night vision.

I have this mounted on my bump helmet, provides plenty of usable light without washing everything out. Makes for a good task light.

Great little light for working low light situations.With nods the red light is plenty to see everything I’m front of you.

Not fit for Airsoft let alone anyone serving. Sheared off the locking mechanism on assembly didn't even make it on to a helmet.
