Pillars of Eternity (CE) is an updated traditional RPG that is well worth owning.
An excellent sword and spell RPG using an old and trusted formula but now with a multithread engine and advanced graphics. The plot, scenery, music, AI, User Interface and immersion & replayability are all to be applauded. I really hope the engine is to be used for many sequels or expansion DLCs. Note that this is game requires a Steam account for registration and update even though the initial release gamefiles are on the DVD; that said buying this CE version DVD was far cheaper than a direct download from Steam.

Its a great game, reminds me so much of the Baldurs Gate Saga. If you know this game and a fan then I recommend getting it.

Perfect game. I missed the Kickstarter so was happy to get my DVD version of the game through Amazon. I recommend this game for anyone craving for that nostalgia of Baldur's Gate.

Am enjoying it very much so far. The deduction of one star is due to the problems I had initially with Steam and the fact that you cannot play the game without logging in to Steam each time.
