Lots of information I did not know and it is very interesting and full of history for our area.

This is a great book for me since I live in the area. Great fun to see pictures of area from the past and knowing what they look like today.It is great to learn the history of certain buildings and roads. It helps explain why things are the way they are today.Finally, there are some abandoned rail lines in this area and now I know when they were active, the route and why they stopped being used.

Very nice book. Has a lot of different content that I haven't seen in other books. This book is a must to complement your collection of New Jersey railroad books. You get a sampling of many different railroads in the state, not just focused on one particular railroad.

Excellent coverage of era! Numerous photos of steam and diesel and informative text. Well worth the price. Thanks for a great book.

I really liked this book! It was filled with photos of steam locomotives, electric motors and diesel units in Jersey in the 1950's, plus rural stations! Anyone who is a railfan will really enjoy this book!
