Pleased overall.
I initially ordered a much more bulky & solid night brace for my plantar fasciitis, but it was complicated to put on and very uncomfortable to wear so I returned it. I'm much happier with this night sock. I wear a size 7.5 or 8 shoe and got a S and it fits perfectly. It's easy to put on and is fairly comfortable. I've worn it when sleeping, although the rubberized bottom grabs onto the sheets so sometimes I remove it part way through the night. I also wear it in the day time if I'm sitting in my recliner reading or watching tv. After using it for a week my heel pain is improving, but it's been gradual -- definitely not an instant cure. I wear a light weight sock on my foot, otherwise it rubs against my ankle causing it to become sore. My toes feel slightly squished, but it's tolerable. Some people have complained about it being hot and their toes sweating, but I haven't found that to be a major problem. I haven't yet trimmed the toe strap, but may eventually do that to get a tighter stretch. Very impressed with how well it's made -- good quality. Overall I'm quite pleased and will continue to use it in hopes my PF will clear up completely.

Good brace. Just didn't fit me right.
There are no easy solutions when it comes to plantar fasciitis. You have to do the work. Stretch your feet every morning and after periods of immobility. You have to wear insoles. But braces at night can do a lot to help. To prevent the plantar fascia from tightening and shortening. In my opinion, there are three options. Hard posterior braces (boot), soft socks, and hybrids like this trying to give the support of a boot but the comfort of a sock with anterior bracing. The goal is the same, to keep you from pointing your toes as you sleep and letting the plantar fascia shrink. You don't need to pursue crazy acute angles, just keep the foot at 90 degrees. Thats why these socks and hybrids work so fine. They allow you more movement intentionally but won't let you completely rest your foot. The hard posterior braces work the best but for many they are clunky and too uncomfortable to wear all night. It drove me crazy and so I didn't wear it, and didn't get better. For the socks and hybrids approaches I urge you to try several and find what works for you. No solution/product fits everyone. I've found the it's the small differences in sizing and positioning of components between brands are what make for a success or failure. Thats why you see in the reviews everyone loves or hates a product. It all depends on how it fits them. I really liked this brace, but ultimately it didn't work for me. The toe box was too big on my foot so it was loose. And I felt it just hyperextended my toes more than my foot/plantar fascia. It was very comfortable otherwise. If you have a bigger foot I think it would work well. Like I said, you just have to try different braces and find the one that fits you the way you need.

Works, but comes with comfort issues
I experienced almost instant relief the first couple of times I wore this product. However, over time, I began noticing a few recurring issues: Heat discomfort: The sock feels quite hot after a while. On some nights, I actually start sweating inside it. Iโm even considering making small holes to help with ventilation. Big-toe discomfort: My big toe sometimes feels like itโs being pulled upward unnaturally, leading to tenderness or mild numbness after a few hours. Itโs possible the harness shifts during sleep or that Iโm not strapping it correctly, but itโs definitely uncomfortable. Because of these issues, I often wake up in the middle of the night and end up taking it off, which defeats the purpose of wearing it overnight. Overall, Iโd give it three stars. It does provide relief and seems to work as intended initially, but it could really benefit from a better design for airflow and rigidity to achieve consistent comfort and results.

Finally getting relief from PF
I've struggle with pretty bad PF in my heel (I've had PF once before but it was pain in my arch - this heel pain is awful!). I've had it for about 6ish weeks and was trying pretty much everything and finally, at the end of my rope, I ordered this sock. It just felt like I was starting over from scratch every morning so thought that keep my foot in this position would allow the healing overnight to stay vs reopening any healing that happened when my foot was relaxed while sleeping. In 4 nights of wearing, the pain is almost gone first thing in the morning and I now have no pain at all during the day. I can't believe I struggled for so many weeks and it only took 4 nights to make this much of a difference. This sock has worked so good! However, it does take some getting used to sleeping with the foot in this locked position but being in pain all the time is the other option so the trade off is worth it. However, some things I wish were different on this sock: Material causes the foot to sweat pretty decently. I remedied that by wearing a thin ankle sock and it's not as bad. The rubber bottom - I would prefer it not have this. Not only does it hang up in the bedsheets, it also gets hung up on the carpet and I've almost fallen walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night because of this. Since this is a sleeping sock, that grip is really not needed in my opinion and I wish there was a way to remove it. The ankle velcro piece could use a "tab" to grab to do/undo it. I keep grabbing for the name label that's sewn in the same area and pulling on it thinking it's the velcro piece and when it's down on the ankle part, trying to pull it up isn't the easiest (which is good, it's good strong velcro to hold it). A pull tab to help would be nice. I can't imagine if I arthritis in my hands being able to pull it up how it is. Overall, it's been great, it's the one thing in the array of PF "fixes" that has allowed all the other things (massage, rolling, ice etc) that help PF to stay and actually accomplish and keep the progress to healing going and not going backwards every morning. Well worth it if you are struggling with PF!

Worthless
Pros: Great idea, but poorly designed and implemented Appears to be well constructed in terms of stitching and material Cons: Bad implementation Bad sizing Wonโt stay on your foot Obviously not tested I did reach out to the seller/manufacturer first. Their response was basically โmehโ. First of all it doesnโt fit. The sock part that your foot goes into is fine but the ankle strap is way too long. For a โmediumโ the minimum ankle circumference the strap will fit is 10 inches and my ankle at that point is 9 inches. So when I put it on I cannot get the ankle strap snug enough to hold the sock properly on my foot. The sizing chart indicates the largest ankle size that the strap will fit, but not the smallest. Second issue is the tension strap; the strap that pulls on your toe; which again is way too long relative to the sock. Even using the strap in the โextra tensionโ mode the strap still attached at the end of the Velcro. Then there is the sock itself. The inside is the same ultra-smooth nylon as the outside. There is nothing to keep the sock from sliding off your foot. Pulling in the tension strap pulls on the toe of the sock which pulls the entire sock off your foot; IF you pull on the strap to the point it is applying tension; but at that point there is no way to attach the strap. Iโm quite sure this would not stay on a personโs foot through a night of sleep and one wouldnโt get a good nights sleep because they would be waking up throughout the night to put it back on. Maybe a size โSmallโ would work better for me, I donโt know, but as I said the manufacture was really not helpful. I was really hopeful about this product, but it is horribly designed and the manufacturer is no help about what to do. Maybe the factory simply didnโt grasp what the designer was trying to accomplish. Either way Iโll look elsewhere.

Numb Toes
Made my toes go numb and didnโt seem to help with the fasciitis issue

A Right on Time Experience
I placed it on immediately! The Velcro durability allowed my foot slide into position as it was easy to use. This item has added support and comfortability as I prepared to rest.

Thanks for little wins!
I picked up the BraceAbility Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint Sock to deal with that sharp heel pain first thing in the morning, and it honestly works better than I expected. It keeps your foot in a steady stretch without cranking it too far back, the inside is soft, and the strap doesnโt slide around while you sleep. Most night splints feel bulky or annoying, but this one is easy to forget about once youโre settled in. During the day Iโm in my Brooks Glycerins with my Alo leggings and the matching long-sleeve hooded top, and that combo plus this splint has made a real difference. The Glycerins give me the cushion I need, the Alo set moves well and keeps me comfortable, and the splint handles the overnight part of the problem. Iโm not limping to the coffee pot anymore, which says it all. If your plantar fascia or Achilles tendon has been giving you trouble, this little sock is worth the try. Iโd buy it again.

Seems to be working
Decent quality. Got replaced one piece with broken buckle. Seems to be working well for the plantar fasciitis pain
