A solid scope at a very attractive price point
Im a self-professed newbie to the world of distance target shooting. finding the right equipment and researching a good value is hard, especially when on a budget. So far, this scope has been an absolute bargain for me. I felt like I got some pretty neat features without breaking the bank, and itโs been an invaluable addition to my shooting gear on range days For its price, I really do think the scopeโs value is unbeatable at MSRP. With it being 6-24x, a first focal plane (FFP) reticle (which I prefer, personally) and pretty hefty build, itโs a good buy The clarity of the optics is impressive, providing clear, crisp images even at the highest magnification. Adjusting the scope and zeroing in was straightforward. It has held its zero exceptionally well after several hundred rounds, so iโm impressed with the QC on this unit so far. I gotta say, this thing has exceeded my expectations so far, especially at a super reasonable price. Itโs easy to use, accurate, and built solid. Iโd highly recommend it to anyone diving into long-range target shooting for the first time and looking for a pretty good value without compromising on performance.

5-stars FOR THIS PRICE POINT, please read carefully
OK, yaw'll, listen here to this old man LOL ............... seriously .......... FOR THE MONEY ............ there is absolutely nothing (currently on the market as of July 2025) that even comes close to this scope. Are there better ones made, yup! But those are gonna cost you at least $100 more. I have many, many scopes. 4 CVLife scopes, a 2-7x Nikon on my .308, Burris on my .243, Discoveryopt 8-32X FFP on my NRL22 rig, along with Bushnell, Tasco World Class, and a few other ones for various PCP and springer air guns hanging around. I am by no means an "expert", but have been playing with lead slingers for 4 decades now. As for THIS scope, for a 6-24X FFP scope with a 30 mm tube, it is as good as one could ever want for the price. Very clear glass up to about 20X, at 24X @ 50 yards is a tiny bit blurry around the edges, but again, the price point. The reticle is awesome. The internal lighting is bright and clear. The turret clicks are very audible. A bit mushy, but so far has been 100% return to zero repeatable and seems very well built for the price point. The side parallax adjustment is not marked correctly. Honestly a whole lot of scopes seem to be that way. But once you figure out the TRUE parallax adjustment at various distance ( Example on my particular scope, true 50 yards is closer to "40" on the scope, yet true 100 yards is between 100 & 200 on the scope. But I know now by memory that's where to set it) I got this scope for one just to give Monstrum a try, and 2 I needed a lightweight smaller size scope in the 6-24X range to keep my rifle + scope weight under 8lbs 7 oz. On a bone stock CZ457 Synthetic with 20" barrel with picatinny scope base rail and this scope total came in a 7lbs 9 oz. Perfect.

This scope quality worth much more
This scope if worth so much more ! I have 3 of these and 3 of a more expensive brand and the quality of these is very close. I find they hold zero extremely well.

Almost perfect, but you can't beat the quality for the price.
Let me just start off by saying this is in the budget category of scopes, that being said the features in the scope are A tier quality, the zero stop, the numbered hash marks, the overall build quality is what you could expect from monstrum, they take hits bumps and drops and retain zero, granted you mount them to the gun properly. The pros. The scope rings are quite wide and are attached with six screws each, excluding one screw for the bubble level built into one scope ring top, extremely solid, if you follow the proper torque sequence your scope will never move on you. I really like the reticle, it's very clear to see, and very easy to use, as I mentioned, it has numbered hash marks to make it easier to make on the fly holdovers. The turrets feel very nice, and align the moa marks very well with the pointer arrow on the scope base, the zero stop also works very nicely and reliability albeit it does possess one downfall. The cons. The optical clarity is pretty bad at full magnification, it really does perform best at about x14, that said, you would be hard pressed to find A x14 mag scope loaded with the features and reliability of this one for the same price. The illuminated redicule doesn't really work very well, it lights it up, but seems to be off centered and actually only lights up half of each element, and ultimately makes it harder to see. That all being said, I still like the scope and would recommend it to anyone looking for A reliable mid range scope, I've tested it on 22wmr, .223, and it held its zero and remains as one of my favorite scopes.

for the buck, no complaints
This is my second Monstrum scope. I have a lot of mid priced name brand scopes in my collection. I have to say at this price range these scopes are a bargain. I have not ever seen an FFP scope for less than $300, and they were not without issues. This scope however seems more in the mid price range category. The elevation and windage adjustments are a little soft and take some getting the feel right, but they seem accurate. As far as "0" return. I've yet to experiment with it. I'm more of the "Boone and Crocket" style holdover and windage guy. I'm 78 and have been using this method for like 65 years. Holly crap!! Now I do feel my age. Anyway, I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes. As far as durability, it's too early to tell. But this scope for the buck, no complaints.

Really nice scope. Great quality and eye relief. Have mine on a .22 and the only problem is I ran out of downward adjustment on some light loads but other than that itโs really nice for the money
