The media could not be loaded.  This is literally just a section of aluminum channel that has been cut to size with a hole drilled into it so certainly nothing special about it. I'm only giving it 4-stars because it is a lot cheaper than an OEM unit and it will work.I just upgraded my 2017 Ram 2500 to a 2024 Ram 3500 and found out that ram no longer includes a receiver sleeve which is ridiculous but it is what it is so I picked up this much less expensive alternative. This sleeve will work but it is nowhere near the fit, finish and design of the OEM unit in my previous Ram.This sleeve does not fit nearly as tight as OEM, there is noticeable wiggle to it.There is no 'stopper' on this unit so, when you go to install your hitch, the hitch will just start to push the sleeve further into the receiver. You will need to align the sleeve on the hitch and install both into the receiver together.I attached a very short video showing just how much wiggle there is with a hitch installed. Personally, I rarely bumper tow since my camper is a 5th wheel, but I think I can live with this amount of wiggle as long as it doesn't end up sounding like something is wrong when actually under a load, which I was not able to test.Again, I think this will work alright but just keep in mind what I mentioned above, looser than OEM and no 'stopper' so if you are fine with those differences, this should be a cheaper (and lighter if that really matters) alternative to an OEM sleeve.

The hitch was exactly as advertised and high quality in fit and finish. Completely satisfied with the purchase. One minor note but certainly not that big a deal is there are 2 different keys one for each pin lock. One key for both locks would have been better but still very happy I bought this hitch.

I have a steel insert I use in my Class 5 hitch so that I can use all the 2" hitches I have on my GMC pickup. The problem is that the insert get's stuck in the receiver if left for any length of time, particularly if it's been raining or weather is damp. The steel insert and steel of the receiver are a fairly close fit and any sort of corrosion and/or dirt getting in there is enough for me to need to drive the insert out with a mallet and a piece of wood...Then I sand the insert...spray on a fresh coat of paint and repeat the process.What's nice about this aluminum insert is that it's less likely to corrode than the stell unit. They designed it with a ridged outer skin which allows air to circulate more and I'm hoping cut back on retained moisture between the insert and the receiver. Sizing is good...it fits in the receiver easily and accepts hitches easily too.I like that this is lighter than the steel inserts and yet certainly substantial enough to stand up to heavy use when needed. Looking forward to using this more often, especially with my heavy duty adjustable aluminum hitch.

This is nowhere near the value of the asking price. It is just an aluminum hollow block that LOOSELY fits inside of your vehicle's tow hitch receiver. It has a ton of play, and it looks like it will shear off during regular driving with any amount of load on it. I will not be using this, since I don't trust it. Your mileage may vary, but please don't drive your trailer in front of me if you are using something as janky as this.

This is my third attempt at buying a sleeve to reduce my 2 1/2" receiver to 2" for all of my hitches and racks. This is the first one that simply works for all applications. There is nothing that restricts how far in or out of the receiver this will slide into the receiver so you can always line it up with the pin. Similarly, there is nothing restricting how far something can slide in or out of the adapter, so again, you can easily line up the pin.Both of my previous purchases had some type of collar or tab that prevented the adapter from lining up inside the receiver or the hitch lining up in the adapter.In addition to actually being able to run the pin through all three of the receiver, adapter, and whatever hitch, cargo carrier, etc. I'm trying to use, this fits snugly enough in the receiver that it won't rattle but not so tight I'm worried about it getting stuck.
